According to the commentators, this was very uncharacteristic of what they saw in practice. Offense was fast and in full precision.

What happened? I'll tell you what happened. We got beat by a better team today. Yep, the Panthers are the better team at this stage of the game. Their lines are both better than ours, their LB's are better than ours, their QB was better than ours, their RB was better than ours, and Smith is better than anyone in a Ram uniform at that position. Yes, even better than Holt. He can run by people, Holt cannot.
Tha Panthers played with fire and passion, the Rams stood by and watched. The Panthers got TD's when they needed it, the Rams settled for FG's.
Bulger and crew better get their heads out of their butts if they plan on winning more than 8 games this year.
