What happened to Bulger?

Removed from the game after a sack, and Green came in. Injured or what?

Re: What happened to Bulger?

From what I heard on the radio, someone grabbed and pulled awkwardly on his arm right as he was throwing. There was less than a minute left in the half, so they pulled him.

Re: What happened to Bulger?

Yeah, Im watching it...he got hit pretty nice on his shoulder....I highly doubt its anything serious, but it obviously got him pretty good. I figure he would have went out even if it were a reagular season game, but probably would have came back in. In conclusion, its probably gonna be a shoulder bruise!

Re: What happened to Bulger?

Linehan was just on KHSP radio, said it was nothing at all serious. Just took a knock and couldn't finish the half. said he'll be fine.

Re: What happened to Bulger?

Gradkowski looked impressive. He's got wheels! Look out we could have Trent in and Gradkowski backing him up if Bulger doesn't start getting the ball off fast enough. I noticed he tends to hesitate.

Re: What happened to Bulger?

i am verry worried about this starting offense i mean bulger took a pummeling in the short time that he played he had a horrible overthrow for an int and another bad pass for an int something is seriously wrong and by the way he walked off the field it didnt look like he was feeling too comfortable with this first team offense

Re: What happened to Bulger?

Whatever happened, I would like to see more from him. Its sad how Trent Green performed a bit better than he did.

Lets hope next week isn't as bad...

he wont, and never has stepped up in the pocket. Then he panics. I said
we needed to draft a qb, and I was not the only one to say that on this

Re: What happened to Bulger?

Bulger seldom looks good in the preseason, and Green played in the Saunder's system in KC for years which is a big help to him. I am just looking for Bulger to become more comfortable and consistant over the next couple of games. Let's just hope that our O-line improves and is healthy. That will instill confidence and set the tone for the offense.

Re: What happened to Bulger?

Don't wory guys its pre-season he went partially color blind for a game. I mean it happens to the best of them. I heard the story behind Peyton Manning's 6 pick game was he lost a contact and Antonio Cromartie looked like Reggie Wayne.

Re: What happened to Bulger?

Bulger is not playing well thus far and needs to see more action in the preseason or he's going to bring the bad play with him in the regular season. I'm really hoping last season's beatings didn't make him damaged goods.

yes i agree that linny should give bulger extensive practice time and extensive preseason time to get get him going before the opener, cause seriously last year i tried to put off that the preseason games where we couldnt get anything going offensively was just a preseason thing and it wouldnt follow into the regular season . . . . . . as rams fans we all know what our offense was last year

Re: What happened to Bulger?

If Bulger wants to step up as a leader on this ball club he needs to put in the effort to learn the new system like the back of his head and put in some extensive practice. If he doesn't do well. Our season is in shambles.

I guess you could say the same thing for Drew Bennett too, considering the second pick looked to be his fault running the wrong route. Also on another play Bennett didnt even look for the ball on a Bulger incompletion that would have been a big gainer. Let's not lay all of this on Bulger. The only thing I see in Bulger is he may need to gain some confidence back. Last year has apparantly taken a beating on him mentally. I think he'll be fine but you can't blame everything on one guy.
