What I got out of the game today

    - The Rams seemed to play with more intensity and consistency with Haslett coaching them.

    - The secondary seems to be improving, they didn't really let any huge plays go.

    - Steven Jackson is an extremely powerful runner, he just needs a better line to keep busting out huge runs against good teams like the Redskins.

    - So much for the Redskins having no turnovers on offense. Guess who just ended that? WE DID!

    - Cogs needs to take anger management classes.

    - Donnie Avery is developing into a good reciever who could eventually be our no. 1 wide reciever.

    - Josh Brown is doing his thing again, except this time we are the ones winning.

    - Steven Jackson once again got over 100 total yards showing that he is not only good at running the ball, he can also be a good reciever. I was hoping he would go over 100 yards rushing but it's all good.

    - WE WON!

Feel free to add anything else you noticed from the game.

The Rams never gave up, and fought the whole 60 minutes. Under Losehan, we'd have folded after the Jax fumble. And never gotten the fumbles. And definitely never gotten that last drive.

Haslett is a coach that the whole team is believing in, and he is genuinely trying to reform the whole organization. Anyone else see part of his postgame speech? he gave the game ball to the organizational staff, because they hadn't gotten one in "10 years". He said there were lots of guys who could get it, Avery, Brown... but no, he wanted to reward the unsung heroes, because he wants to get the whole franchise on a winning track.

I'm beginning to really like Haslett.

Did notice some of the Defense getting tired in the 3rd and 4th--BUT GOSH DARN, marked improvement on Defense...perhaps some better depth at Defensive postions to allow more rotation to rest players would be in order, but hopefully that will happen next year

Oooooh that offense, it woke up And played like PROFESSIONALS!

Yes it was close in the end--But the Rams Dominated for most of the Game!

Anyone still think it was a bad idea to Fire Linehan?

Haslett definitely belongs at the head coaching position and NOT coordinating...

    Good post.

One thing I saw about this game though...Leckey and Cogs will be dumped at the end of the season. What jokes these two are. It makes me sick.

Holt is something else. As of now, I would like to have Avery as our #1 receiver. He is capable of getting open and catching the ball. I'm not giving up on Holt, but we do have a good player in Avery.

Well, Dragoon, we still suffer from overworking our defense. Our offense can't hold onto the ball long enough for our defense to rest up as much as they need. Once we start getting some more first downs our defense will be that much better in the 4th quarter.

Yeah, I think we should just get rid of leckey completely and possibly draft a better center or get one somehow. We could also try incognito at center, see if he improves at all with a position change, but I doubt it. I also want to see Schuening and Greco play a little, they could replace barron and cogs.

Barton is actually playing great this year, did you notice...no false starts today!

Barron was our only consistent o-lineman last season and he's playing solid this year. He's not going anywhere.

Jason Craft's missed tackle on Ladell Betts meant that a potential 4th and 11 became 4th and inches, which was converted. Other than that, the secondary did well.
