What I want to see vs. Detroit

OK, I will be happy with just a few minor improvements:

    1) Showing a much better Defensive Front 4 with Pickett on the line.

    2) Offensive line showing some improvement from last week. Doesn't need to be stellar, but show the potential with Pace in there.

    3) Some decent returns from Fair. I think he's our guy. It's been years since any Ram player took a kick return out past the 17 yard line. He actually broke one that got called back. Still, he broke one.

I concur, The first team offence needs to be a little sharper, as dose the first team D.

To come out with intensity would be nice....both O line and D line, they need to pick the pace up!!!

    To not get themselves INJURIED!!!!

Definetely improved run-defense, strong o-line and turnover free offense would be great. I would love to see the DB's challenged and handle it strong as well.

I would like to see 3 simple things:
A strong performance by our D.
A good performance from our special teams.
Marc Bulger not touched by a single Lion.

I'd like to see the defensive starters play into the third quarter so they can work on gelling as a unit. Evaluating talent is important, but we need this defense to be on the same page come the regular season.

I totally agree. If the starters aren't cutting it, then why worry about them getting injured? Leave 'em out there until they get it right. Hopefully that will be by the second quarter, and we can get them out of there, but if not.....why pull them out?

That's kinda' been my thinking as well. 3rd preseason game already, time to pick it up , Boy-o's. Stay in the fight 'til you get it right.

The Major has hit the nail on the head as usual. Our brother from the other side of the pond has appropriately stated NO INJURIES. Remember all, you cant win anything in pre season, but you can LOSE plenty if guys get hurt. Hey steve, does Queens Park Rangers have anyone that can punt better than the two guys we currently have on the roster?

I would like to see someone emerge as the clear-cut favorite for the starting free safety spot. Also I have not heard anything about Hedgecock if as originally hyped he could help improve our running game. I will try to watch for him this game but sometimes FBs are hard to find when watching a Rams game. I thought when he was drafted that he might be an upgrade over Goodspeed who is adequate. We have been missing that powerful lead blocker since James Hodgins left. That is when Marshalls rushing yards per game started going south.

This could also help us pounding the ball in at the goal line. I remember watching Faulk follow the Hammer Hodgins in to the end zone a few times.
