just think where we would be if we won just 2 of those games, the cards and niners are games we should have won,the seahawk games would have been icing on the cake and helped us to a NFC west championship.

No, no, no not really, WE ARE TALKING ABOUT WHAT HURT US WORST!!!

This thread line is okay. Any one scenario, especially the she squawks loss is a determining factor.

HERE IT IS WHAT HURT MOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Josh Brown's 54 yarder. I knew it than that was a deciding factor in our season, OUR BIGGEST UPSET!!!

What loss hurt the most this year? :\

Yes, I'd say the last minute loss at home Vs. Sawks. That heartbreaking FG.

We lost a few very close ones this season. In that respect, sure ... "what if". We'd be up a couple of games right there with Seattle. But let's see where we go from here, today. Today was a great victory.

Again, Rams and Rams fans, "MERRY CHRISTMAS!"

I would say losing the 2nd game in seattle's house hurt the most. We knew he had to win it to be able to win the division. All those games were heartbreakers though.

Re: what loss hurt the most this year??

the first seahawks loss changed the season. it really was the turning point, especially heading into the bye week. The second seahawks loss cost us a shot at the division.

But the worst loss of the year, the one that might well keep us out of the playoffs, was the pathetic no show performance at home against arizona. no excuse at all for losing that game, let alone the way we played. if you miss the playoffs by one game, its not to hard to say that losing at home to a crappy team like arizona was the difference.

I would look back on 2 games this year on what should have changed where we are standing now.
The 1st was the 2nd loss to Seahawks and that was a game in which I questioned the head coaches decision making(He essentially took 2 FG's off the board in a game we lost by 2).I thought Mad Mike was Back!!!
The 2nd was the lack of showing up against the Cardinals at home. That game made me sick!!!
Honorable mention would be the 1st heartbreaker to SEA and the stinker in CAR.
Don't knock our boys for the SF loss they beat SEA twice and many may not want to hear it and I really don't want to say it but they are turning a corner for the better and it may be the the return of the best Rams rivalry. As long as we come out on top let 'em bring it!!!

I think losing to the Seahags twice, def hurt the most, especially in the final seconds.

The most painful for me personally was the loss to the whiners in week 2. I had just gotten back from the bash in St. Louis and the win over the Broncos. Optimism was bubbling within me. I wanted so bad to erase that bad taste from last year when we were swept by the whiners. At least we split this year.

Both losses to the squawks hurt real bad, especially since we had the game in our hands. Just think, we could have wrapped up the division at 9-6 already.

The loss that still eats at me is the one when Linehan decided to go for the 1st down instead of attempting the short FG. We failed to get the 1st and turned the ball over on downs!(vs. Seahawks)
