In this mess of a season, what is the most promising thing you've seen?

These are all very good positives we can continue to build on. Still would like to see an upgrade on the defensive line.

Went for the tandem of Ryan and Carriker as they are young guys with huge potential to solidify the line for the future, which the Rams have been desperately searching for. Have to give a special mention to the punter Jones, he has been superb and at only 27 he should give continuity for the future at a position that has been somewhat of a revolving door in recent years...

IMO any of the selections make sense. I went with Leonard after being thrown into a starting position last week and shining.

Special teams has been something to watch, Punter Jones is having a amazing year booting the ball, what a weapon this guy is!!!! nice to see the ball travel further than the 20 yard line from Hall on KO,.....and for once I found myself a liitle excited when Hall sets up for a punt return....

I take Carriker and Ryan because we dont have to waste first round picks on a DT for many years to come. These two young guys are showing a lot of promise.

I was wondering if I was the only one who got excited about Dante :-) I thought he was a bust at first, but he quickly proved me wrong. I come out of my seat everytime the ball hits his hands ...

He's a big loss this week. I hope Hagans can take the reigns and produce ...

All of the above are positives to build on. But the most promising thing I've seen is Carriker and Ryan. It looks like we've finally found some stability and a future with those two guys in the middle. After all the failed FA's and draft picks of the past staff, it looks like we've finally plugged that leak. Now we can concentrate on other needs, like the OL.

I think the defense as a whole has shown some promise. They have had quite a few injuries yet have managed to keep the games close (at least through the first half). They seem to be headed in the right direction. I am really disappointed in the offense even with the injuries that they have had.

I'm glad we picked up Donnie Jones and Dante Hall, but the defensive tackles offer greater promise for the future. We have had so much trouble with the defensive tackle position for so many years, it's a relief to finally have a little good news in that department.

I agree and would add Wade to that also, overall a good draft for a team that really needed it.

This is the best shape we have been in at the punting spot since dave chapple retired.

good point and maybe overlooked a bit since we haven't taken advantage of his punting, but when we get going again and he continues punting the way he is it will be a great asset for the team, both offense and defense.

I cant vote for special teams in general here because despite the good he has done, hall's fumble at the end of the sf game just killed us.
