Re: What is the most promising thing you've noticed this season?
I voted for special teams, it really looks like we've taken a step forward there this year.
Our DT's show promise, sure. But I haven't seen enough great play to say with confidence that Carriker and Ryan will be our 2 starting DT's for the next several years, there have been good plays, but it's been up and down IMO. For rookies they show promise, I hope they continue to improve. I'm just not confident enough to call that position a problem solved just yet.

I went with our young DTs. But, one selection missing from the list. With the way the seasons going we'll be a lock for the #1 draft pick. Whether we keep the pick or trade for mutlple picks it could be a silver lining in this mess.

That if the Rams continue to play this bad the people of STL will not support them and they will return to Los Angeles.

Re: What is the most promising thing you've noticed this season?
Special teams has been the most surprising, well, Dante Hall mostly. The defense has been a nice change also

Good poll.
I'd go for the young guys in the middle. I've been impressed with Barron, you never hear his name. Leonard could be the choice after this weekend............................

At least at 0-5 everyone is still looking at the positive things! Personally I am so disgusted with this team I couldn't even bring myself to vote.

I went with young DT's. Did anyone else see that Cariker had his best game at the 3 technique Haslet even said it was his beat game. Ryan at NT and Carriker at the 3 technique all we need is a pass rushing DT and the future looks great.

Re: What is the most promising thing you've noticed this season?
Since the DT situation is so central to the team's overall success, I voted for Carriker and Ryan

Re: What is the most promising thing you've noticed this season?
I voted for the performance of Carriker & Ryan and would say the improved Special Teams is a close second. Carriker has held his own as a rookie learning a new position and IMO will develope into quite the player.Ryan has blown me away with his play, this is the big NT we have needed for a looong time, a steal in this past draft and together a solid foundation for the DL in coming years.

Re: What is the most promising thing you've noticed this season?
I voted for Carriker/Ryan as they have looked very promising, but I think you can make a case for anything on that list.
BTW, how thankful are we that Donnie Jones signed a five-year deal? He's looked like a stud punter this season, nice signing to finally secure a weak position!

Re: What is the most promising thing you've noticed this season?
I've voted for Barron as the most consistent player on a much-maligned OL. He has been one of our better offensive players, especially impressive considering he switched to a position he hadn't played in two full seasons when Pace went down in week 1.
Otherwise, Carriker/Ryan are very promising, Jones/Hall have been fantastic, but...
THE MOST PROMISING THING ABOUT THIS SEASON:
(And no, it's not the release of Lenny Walls
)
The fact that there's still a chance we can go 11-5.
