What Rams Player Has The Most To Prove This Year?

I heard a similar question posed on ESPN and it got me wondering about the Rams, especially with all the recent comments here regarding numerous players and what they need to do.

What do you think?

I know this may sound crazy but I think Orlando Pace has the most to prove. He has been great in the past but after two injury plagued seasons, I am wondering if he has any more in the tank or is he done?

Who doesn't have something to prove on this team? But yeah, Clod Rotten definitely has something to prove. Shoot, he has everything to prove. Of the starters, Bennett really needs to prove last year was a fluke.

I agree that most guys have something to prove, but in terms of most to prove, I'll go along with your take on Drew Bennett. He was a big money free agent who was brought in to improve the Rams in a number of areas and pretty much fell flat on his face when he got his shots. Add the fact that he was a major reason the Rams had to let icon Isaac Bruce go, and he is really under the microscope of scrutiny.

Definately Drew Bennett. We payed him so much, yet he played like crap. I didn't enjoy seeing the ball thrown his way because I always had this feeling he'd screw it up. I want that to change. I want Bennett to live up to his contract.

Orlando Pace needs to show me that he can stay healthy.

Alex Barron needs to get ready soon. I know the Rams are not afraid to replace him.

Tye Hill needs to impress me also.

Steven Jackson proved to me last season that he's a good RB. Missed 4 games yet still reached 1,000.

Same with Marc Bulger. If he had the line, he'd do great, I give him a year behind one good line.

Not crazy at all, and I am on board with this thought. First he needs to prove he can play more than a handful of games. And then we'll worry about how effective he can be.

Bennett has some huge shoes to fill with Bruce gone and it will be interesting to see how he proforms...


come to think of it, ALL the Ram players HAVE something to PROVE coming of a 3-13 season...

I agree, Drew Bennett has the most to prove. We paid a lot for him and he did not produce.

Scott Linehan. He needs to prove that he can successfully coach a team and make adjustments as the game progresses. We were competitive in the first halves last year, but the defense wore out and the opposing defense adjusted for our offense. This year we need to fight the whole game and win the close ones as opposed to losing them. Everyone has something to prove, and Linny's responsible for all of them.

I agree with Bennett,but will also add Bulger who needs to prove that his pro bowl season was not a fluke,and then both Pisa and Pace need to prove they can stay healthy for an entire season at this point in the careers.
