What type of schedule are you hoping for?

The NFL schedule is set to be released on April 16, 2013.

What type of schedule do you hope for?

Trial By Fire: Tough games/road games stacked up in early part of the season. If the team can run the guantlet with moderate success, they will be rewarded with a late schedule that allows a sprint to the finish line.

Easing Into Autumn: Easier games/home games in early stage of season. Allow the team to get some wins under its belt and build confidence, with the tough games towards the end of the year.

Getting Over The Hump: A couple of easier games at the start to get off running, and a favorable late schedule for the playoff push. Getting from Halloween to Thanksgiving a bear of a task.

Mixed Bag: Tougher and easier games scattered throughout schedule. No real speed ramps, but no major roadblocks either.

Mixed bag, I want to see this team capable of handling any circumstances whether it's easy or hard.

Easing Into Autumn, I would like to open at home. I want the softer start if there is such a thing. We have to play all the teams on our schedule sooner or later and I think we will play our best football in the second half of the year. Hoping the 9ers and Hawks play each other before we face either team.

Only for the fact the Rams offense will be extrememly young next season. I voted for Easing Into Autumn.

I thought I was a Mixed Bagger but then I got Humped.

It's a young team, lots of new parts on offense especially. Tough at either end of the schedule when these young 'uns are either wide-eyed or worn out seemed like a bad idea
    .
Mixed bag is the hedger's bet, of course, but makes sense in an old never get too high or low kind of way.

Here's another hedge; Hump only works for me if The Rams get a near-mid season bye. Do they still get a good bye now that London has gone bye-bye ?

How would you describe last year's schedule in hindsight ? Personally, I'm gonna have to mull that one.Pretty sure it'll be different than I thought before the season, though. Injuries change everything.

I liked the mix bag but I think getting over the hump may be best. Easing into autumn sounds nice but can backfire in my opinion. It would suck to end up 6-2 in the first half of the season with no real competition and then lose the remaining 8 games. Trial by fire is only good for teams who are great already, not for us.

The NFL schedule makers actually providing us an easy or manageable first 6-7 weeks out the gat, that sounds too good to be true.

Re: What type of schedule are you hoping for?

I voted for mixed bag because you will have to play the scheduled teams regardless. My one concern for bunching the tougher teams at the end will be the unknown factor of injuries. Let's hope we have few to none and we're making a playoff run at that point.

    Go Rams!

Re: What type of schedule are you hoping for?

I was originally hoping easy start so that they can get some momentum with this young team, with the most difficult teams at the end of the schedule so that they can evaluate what they have.

But in the end, with injuries and other factors it really doesn't matter much.

Playing with fire. Besides, it's the other teams that have to worry about the Rams, not the other way around...

Re: What type of schedule are you hoping for?

Had a thought about the schedule.....I just hope we don't have to play game 16 on the road against Seattle or *****. It will be a division game so let it be a home game against AZ. In fact I hope throughout the season we don't have more than 1 road game back-to-back.

    Go Rams!
