What was up with Jacob Bell

As I was watching the Rams execution...er..game yesterday I noticed that Bell was out of the lineup and Wragge was playing in his place.

Anybody know what was going on with Mr. Bell?

(Or is it more accurate to ask if anybody really cares at this point....)

    WHAT SAY YE?

He suffered a hamstring injury that apparently may keep him out for a few weeks.

This is big. Say what you will about Bell, but he's easily our best pass protector out of a pass protecting deficient group.

Thanx for the info. While I'm not happy that he is injured I am kinda pleased that at least he wasn't benched for incompetence. That honor, my friend, is soley reserved for Jason Smith. And it is an honor that he so richly deserves.

BTW, I agree with your assessment on J. Bell. He ain't much for getting a push up front but he can pass block and even occasionally get the 2 level. And at this point that's saying something....

He is currently our best offensive lineman.

Do we have enough room to pick up Renardo Foster?

Uh..that process started in the Baltimore game. What you saw against Washington is what you'll be seeing the rest of the year.

Putting it another way: Much like his predecessor, Linehan, Spags has lost the locker room....

So if I have it straight, our horrendous offensive line just lost a starter, and a guy who couldn't earn a starting role on potentially the worst line in the league will now start? Sweet, I needed good news.

Read this morning the Rams got some good news in regard to the sprain, and it's been diagnosed as a Grade I sprain....Officially listed as day to day, so I'd expect him ready in Green Bay....

Considering the Rams are going to 'scout' themselves this week, I'm sure the coaching staff will be wishing they could play the Rams in 2 weeks...Looks to be an easy win...

I hate to admit it but this had me laughing outloud!!!!

If in fact the RAMS are next on our schedule that will make 2 weeks in row without a loss.

    GO RAMS!!!
