What will YOU do about our WR situation
Its pretty obvious the Rams will either draft a WR or snatch one up out of FA. Possiby both
If you were callin the shots, what would be your decision?
Who would you like if you were planning on using a dp for other needs and just adding a fa to our existing squad?

Re: What will YOU do about our WR situation
I tried making this a poll but I'm doing this on my phone so its not so simple.
I personally would love to see Bradford throwing to Sidney Rice. He's a young very talented WR with huge playmaking ability. He also, out of all the notable free agents, is probably in the most unstable position being that he is with the vikings who have no clear cut QB of the future that will throw to him.
Why wouldng Rice want to come to Stl. He would immediately be our Number 1 and will have an accurate young Bradford throwing to him.

Re: What will YOU do about our WR situation
I would love to see Rice in horns. I would also look for a WR in the draft. Julio Jones is intriguing with his athletic ability. But Blackmon might be the better choice as he is more polished. I can see Blackmon becoming a Marvin Harrison, Isaac Bruce type receiver.

Re: What will YOU do about our WR situation
The problem with waiting for the draft is you put all your eggs in one basket. I see 2 or 3 FA WR'rs that I would like to see playing for the Rams next year. If it were me, I'd make fair, reasonable offers to those players. If I remember correctly, the Rams had a deal set up with Vincent Jackson but couldn't get the trade pieces right. If thats true, offer a similar deal again.
Then, if you can't get your #1 in free agency, you'd really better hope one of the top 3 is there in the draft, because if they're not, the Rams will probably end up with a similar receiving corp. I don't see any harm in signing a FA WR and drafting one if he's the BPA. There are a number of other holes too, but our WR's have an annoying habit of getting hurt.
Just my 2 cents

Re: What will YOU do about our WR situation
I would pick up Vincent Jackson AND Sidney Rice then trade all my picks for the number 1 overall and draft AJ Green ... Wait this isint madden? To be honest I would prefer a free agent mainly due to experience. Not sure who I would prefer.

Re: What will YOU do about our WR situation
We are the second youngest team in the league. I think we should use our new owner with deep pockets to bring more experience to the team.
Get Sidney Rice and/or Vincent Jackson if possible.
Get Carl Nicks to replace Adam Goldberg(good backup at best).
Use the draft to fill up our needs - OLB, SS, DE, CB, TE.
James Laurintis and Fred Robbins are our only Vets who we depend on to make game winning plays on the field.Last edited by robot; -01-09-2011 at 06:02 PM.

Re: What will YOU do about our WR situation
I'm working out and running 5-6 hours a day to try and get in shape and make the squad, but I just don't think I'm the #1 threat the Rams need right now.
