believe me i would have loved to vote reasonable but premature is probably about right. 2010 was suppose to be the baseline until 2011. hopefully 2011 was just a bad roll of the dice and we become the surprise team. sports dude above is right on!

Premature, we have to gel this team first before we start talking about playoffs. Our passing game will lag the entire team but not the as bad as last season.

I went with "bold."

In my mind, the Rams look like a 6-8 win team "on paper." But, as we've all seen, a few bounces in the right (or wrong) direction, and that number can change.

So, can the Rams win the division with a 9-7 record?

I don't know, but I will say this... I'm not particularly impressed with the rest of the division. The Seahawks and Cardinals, who were hardly world-beaters last year, both have QB issues, and a general lack (beyond a couple of guys like Larry Fitzgerald and Chris Clemons) of "scary" players.

That leaves the Niners. While I respect their defense as a whole, I think they are vulnerable against the pass. On offense, the question is whether Alex Smith turned a corner last year, or just had a "career year."

So, yes... I think its "bold" to think the Rams could win the West this year. But its not out of the question.

Premature. While I considered Bold, the truth is we have yet to see one snap of this team molded by Jeff & Les and see how they compete. Plus we need to have the team gel as was said by another poster.

Opportunistic? No, I'd leave it right in the middle between 'overreaching' and 'optimistic'. That ought to balance Rams fans positive ambitions for 2012.
