Yep, and they probably would have been selected by the team that trade up just in front of us, if not before our pick

Whoever made the above assessment must be a cheatroits fan or a RAMS hater. I don't know how many times I have seen the cheatriots do what the RAMS did this year, and all the media type draftniks were lining up to plant their lips on bellicheats backside. I have not seen anyone reputable claim that Blackmon was better than 5 picks, no matter where they are picked. I also remember reading a lot of Draftniks saying Blackmon wasn't worth the second overall pick, and it would be a reach for the RAMS. Exactly how many NFL receiving yards, TDs, and catches has Blackmon had so far? Whose to say he won't let the big money go to his head, and become a bust? Also remember that the RAMS have already stated (when it was safe to do so) that TRich would have been their pick at #2 had they picked that high. So we still wouldn't have had 'better than 5 picks' on the roster.

Disappointed - that we didn't get Blackmon, but I understand...
Hopeful - that we have more draftee's that stick then don't.
Impressed - with the FO turning picks into MORE picks.

We'll see in a couple years how it turns out...

I am worried about what happens when Jenkins and Johnson start having taser fights with each other.

Gap, I think Rebel was merely being facetious.

I guess hearing that kiper gave the RAMS a D- (ESPN IIRC) just before reading his comment caused me to miss the facetious intent of the email. Sorry I missed that.

This has the feel of some type of English assignment of a long time ago!

Re: What word(s) describe your post-draft emotional state? (Multiple Choice Poll)

I've had a few PMs requesting write-in votes on this poll. Pretty interesting suggestions:

After the 2012 draft, I feel...

    HUbison: "Pretty, oh so pretty."

    laram0: "like another beer."

    Nick: "underpaid."

richtree: "like its time to start working on my 2013 WR rankings chart."

adarian: "whoah... dude... what was the question?"

    BernieM: "hungry."

NJRamFan: "like pissing off the entire board with negativism."

txramsfan: "like we had some good choices, good depth."

RamDez: "like a young boy feeling the cool breeze of a an Autumn day while wearing a kilt commando style."

ferter: "like I was here before all of you!"

IIRC, tex would rather eat nails, be slapped by a 2x4, and have his nether parts smoothed by sand paper instead of watching the draft.

If I had a nickel for every facetious post I missed, I wouldn't have to be here working for Dez.
