What you want to see in Week 2

Ok, so the season is underway and it didn't look good.
Even if we end up with one of the worst 5 records in the NFL again this year, we need to see things to build on.

Here is what I have seen and need to see.

    1. Pressure on the Qb when Long is in the game. It is dissappointing to see Little and Long not get to Qb, this is a must.
With Adam Carriker and Long being high draft picks there is a demand for performance out of Long this season.

    2. Bulger must throw the ball deep down the field. Our Recievers must do this to open the middle up for Randy and the screen pass for SJax.

    3. Sjax must catch the ball out of the backfield.

    4. Our Defense actually looked decent to start the game, other than pressure on the QB. I need to see big hits on defense. That creates fear, tempo, and turnovers.

    5. We need to score 20 points or more. If we score 14 or less Kyle Boller will be warming up and Tim Tebow will be on our radar come week 4.

    6. No mental mistakes that result in penalties. We actually were right in this game without the stupid penalties.

    7. Special teams returners to get some yardage/block on kick returns and punts. This could make our offense so much better.

    8. Someone become a leader on the field. We know Bulger isn't the man anymore, so let's see someone do this.

I want to see us take more shots downfield. I also want to see Jaxx get the ball WAY more. 3-and-outs can not be an option because with good field position, the skins will score with ease. I don't want to see Richie Incognito get in another fight and kill another one of our drives. We have to stay consistent and move the ball downfield. We should be settling for nothing less than a FG on every drive at least.

To me it's really only two things:
    Offense
    1. More touches for Steven Jackson. He should be rushing the ball 20-25 times a game and getting at least 3-5 catches.
    Defense
    2. Pressure on the QB.

I think everything else will follow if these two things are preformed.

Re: What you want to see in Week 2

I think if we use the screen pass on 1st down it can get positve yardage and keep the oposing LB's from center blitzing us.

With the additon of Kearny and Bajema we should be able to pick up pressure and pull our OL to create multiple options on RB/WR/TE screen passes.

Randy should be used as our #3 reciever with Laurent and Avery moving around a ton.

Randy should be used in the way the Falcons used Crumpler as a flanker with Bulger haven't to get rid of the ball quick and make STRONG ARMED THROWS.

    we will see

I want to see Bell block somebody
I want to see Long hit the QB
I want to see a WR catch a pass over 20 yards
I want to see McMichael make a difference
I want to see Jackson hit the hole (if there is one) and not dance around
I want to see Jackson pick up a blitzing defensive player for once

I want to see the Rams score more points than the Redskins.

No, that was not a wiseass remark.

My point is... I want the Rams to win the game. I don't care how. 3-0? Works for me. 45-42? Great. On the strength of Jackson's running? Super. On the strength of Bulger's throwing? Wonderful. Win by defense. Win by special teams. Win by luck of the bounce. All good.

This team needs a taste of victory. Victory will vindicate the hard work of camp, and give hope for the future. Victory will build confidence and bring the team together.

Right now, that's all I want.

What i would like to see is, more of what we saw in the first quarter in the seahawks game from our defense- Turnovers.
I would like to see our offense move the ball downfield anyhow anyway i don't care who gets the ball as long as we put some points on the board.

p.s.- Tim Tebow will not be on our radar, the way our offense is designed the QB has to be a very accurate passer i.e.- Bradford or McCoy imo.
p.s.s.- I forgot, I would also like Little and Long to get somesort of pressure on the qb this week, and i would also like to see Victor Adenaju ( not even close on the spelling) active for this game i would bet he knows when he's supposed to be on the field or not, plus he is a beast.

This must come as quite a surprise to the Rams lockerroom.

I'd like the RAMs to win 45-0..............twould cause the entire universe to stand up and say "WWWWHHHHHAAAAAAATTTT?". Talk about confusion.

I wanna see the short leading passes to the WRs. Let Avery and Robinson YAC.

I wanna see some friggin push on the right side with Brown stalemating Haynesw...., Cogs sealing off and Smith and someone else plowing the road for SJ. All Game!! Take it 5-8 yards a pop if necessary. Mike up SJ so I can hear him giggle.

Then give me the play action with Avery and Robinson going deep.

Re: What you want to see in Week 2

I want them to fight for every yard on both sides of the ball

    commit less penalties

    stop the run

    pressure the oposing QB

make the best use of Jackson, Avery and Robinson.

Beat the redskins most of all.

Thats what I want to see. I hope I do.

Like to see the D-line pressure and get to the QB, and the D hold the skins less than 100 yards rushing.
The OL open holds for SJ to gain 100+ yards if we do those thing we probably win the game.
