Well, my biggest concern is weather I will have enough beer to get me through the game. I now have to worry about the game being on; last time I checked the NFL Ticket schedule, I did not see the Rams/Panthers game listed.

My biggest concern is that sopcast won't work and that i'll be forced to watch a Cowboys or Patriot game instead. Which is pretty much all they play around here.

Re: What is your biggest concern on game day?

I voted Oline still in a coma.

Let's just say I'm more anxious, than concerned.

I seriously am not concerned about our defense this week, not against the Panthers. Even if we didn't improve any from last year, the Panthers should not be able to put up much, unless Smith has the game of his life. ...which he can do.

Oh great, NOW I'm concerned about Smith. Damn.

I concur with the Steve Smith argument.

It will be a big test to the skills of Tye Hill. From memory they are both the same height and run about as fast as each other, so it will come down to who shows the ability to step up and handle the other. I wouldn't be surprised to see a little of both players dominating, to be honest.

However, their No.2 is, I think, Dwayne Jarrett or Keary Colbert (Unless they signed someone who I've missed) which is better for Ron Bartell than facing, say, Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison. Here's hoping he takes it to the next level on game day.

I'm concerned that the scoreboard won't be able to handle triple digits.

Re: What is your biggest concern on game day?

i voted defense as a whole. Too early to narrow it down for me. Stopping the run is critical. I didnt put the secondary because i KNOW the secondary will get lit up if we dont get a pass rush.

The same stuff always worries me in every single game. Turnovers and red zone conversions. Statistically, those two items are tremendous barometers of football success at any level. You can cover a LOT of problems if you score tds rather than kick field goals when you hit the red zone and if you have a positive turnover ratio, especially plus two or better, you dramatically impact your odds of winning.

Uh, this is a RAM website. ...duh.

...and watch what you wish for, it could end up being your worst nightmare. Last year, Smith caught 4 balls for 90 yards. 62 of those yards came from one play, and it wasn't against Hill. It was our safeties, Atogwe and Chavous that had the coverage on that play. Even with our putred excuse for a defensive team last year, your average gain per pass in that game was 3.1 yards.

Wow. I'm sure the Rams are shaking in their cleats.
