I absolutely guarantee that Marc Bulger would not do that, if only because he's cold as ice on the field. No emotion, baby. Just gets the job done.

KurtWarner2005MVP - we think this guy might be a whiner fan
Re: What are your expectations for this year

Hasselskwak can't hold Bulger's jock. No way Hawks are able to take a game from the Rams this season. The Rams have their number.

I expect no less than 12 wins, probably more like 14 if everything goes according to plan and there are no big injuries. Deep playoff run, NFC title as the worst case scenario. Super Bowl win as the best.

With home field we go to the bowl, otherwise no - just NFC Champs
Since there really is no home field advantage in the Super Bowl, do you care to elaborate on this statement?

Re: What are your expectations for this year

I have a good feeling about this year. I think all the attention to detail in the off-season will pay off and the team will click. If we stay healthy, we will do some damage in 2005 IMO.

Nice catch Ziggy - should have said NFC "West" Champs.

Re: What are your expectations for this year

I see Rams winning the Division " for sure " the real test will be the playoffs, Eagles and Falcons have me concerned.

Re: What are your expectations for this year

can we bookmark this thread? so at the end of the season after we are proven right we can show all the naysayers that we knew what we were talking about. i'm tired of the happy homer comments from skwakies and whiners and being called a midwestern maroon.

Re: What are your expectations for this year

Some justified excitement with what can be accomplished on offense this year.

However, the games vs. New England, Miami, and Atlanta were eye openers last year.
I don't think the offseason moves will bring them to a level on special teams and defense that, even if in place last year, would have enabled them to beat Atlanta. So I think there will still be some holes in the defense and on special teams that will be hard to overcome. Partly because there may still be a bit of a size issue on D, as Hargrove and Little, along with the Linebackers (except for Claiborne) are fast, but could as a whole, be a liability against good rushing teams.

One thing I would like to note. The Rams had the worst starting field position in the NFL last year, and if I recall correctly, were also one of the worst in opponents starting field position. Think how much easier it will be for Bulger and company to get 7 points if they could just improve to middle of the road on field position. Too many 3 point possessions.

Re: What are your expectations for this year

My expectations are an improvement on last season by 2-3 games. They should win the division, but I don't see them going to the Super Bowl, although I'd love it to happen.
