I'm hoping today (Monday afternoon or so), but anytime before training camp starts would be acceptable. Now that Chris Long is under contract, those doing the negotiations will be able to concentrate more on the others.

I agree with Keenum. I think now that Long is under contract they will focus on Avery. I think it will happen within the next day or two.

Avery will be a great contribution, I think he is amazing.

The reason to focus on Avery is that he's the most logical one who would possibly hold out, though in his position that's foolish because he needs to get into camp to lock down the #3 slot. The lower round guys will be pushing their agents to take the deal because they know that they're not guaranteed a roster spot.

It wouldn't make sense for Avery to hold out. I'm not saying he wont, just that it would be stupid. Unless I'm mistaken there's a steep learning curve in this offense and Avery has a SHOT at being the #3 receiver. Why would he miss part of camp and make it harder for himself to win that?

Burton will get the number 3 spot if Avery screws around. He might get it anyway.
