Tebow maybe should've been added to the poll. Alot of the experts say he's not a NFL QB, but this kid got heart and may be the best quarterback coming out this year. The main thing is this guy is a winner and has been throughout his college career. The Rams could use his leadership, Tim Tebow showed alot in leading Florida over Cincinnati in their bowl game. Tebow is stronger than Bradford, Smarter than McCoy and more experienced Clausen. Tim Tebow may not be the dream QB, but he should be given more consideration.
BTW, I went with Null, sorry Bulger, Boller....Its over!

Bulger has shown that he clearly can't win with this Rams team in the last 3 seasons and I doubt Pennington will start in the NFL again so who else would be a better option than Vick as a temporary one year starter.

Unless a high round draft pick is going to be playing QB for the Rams next year I can't think of any available QB who would give the Rams a better chance at winning than Vick.
Going strictly by the number of losses, Null is much better than Vick. Vick proved himself a loser the minute he started his off-the-field activities.

What have Tebow and Bradford won in the NFL? Oh, yeah...nothing.

When did the QB get the offensive playcalling duties? Did I miss something?

If the Rams don't sign Vick I will be disappointed but will root for whomever they put at QB, whereas most Rams fans will absolutely FREAK OUT if they sign him.

The Rams won't be signing Vick, so I think you'll all have to find a different outlet for your panties fetishes.

Joe Namath… getting the opportunity he should have had, rather than being a victim of politics between Chuck Knox and Carroll Rosenbloom. We could have won Superbowl XIV with him. Sorry, Vince.

When I dream, I see _____ starting at QB for the Rams in 2010.

Too easy...Peyton Manning!!!! Realistically, and intrigued by...Troy Smith. Give up a 4th round pick or so for him, was going to be Balts. starting QB before he got sick, has mobility. I like him more than T. Jackson and J. Campbell.

Re: When I dream, I see _____ starting at QB for the Rams in 2010.

Let's see...Bulger, Boller, Null, been there, done that, bought the T-shirt, using it as a rag.

Bradford, Clausen, McCoy, Pike, Mallet, had fine collegiate careers. However, I don't think a rookie QB would have much of a chance to develop behind our line, and with our current receiving corp. So I say nay, nay to the rookays.

Jackson...AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Sorry, just had a waking nightmare. I live in MN. I've seen enough of Jackson. PASS

Pennington? Too old, too immobile, too often injurred.

Campbell is the most intriguing of the possible choices. He's mobile, and has a strong arm. He played pretty well this season. Of the QBs on the list, he'd be my 1st choice (I will place Ms. Decker in my "nice dreams" locker).

All that being said, I believe Bulger will return. If we can somehow fix our O-line, and pick-up a legitimate receiver or two, he might be able to have a couple more decent years. If we do pickup a rookie QB, it would be nice NOT to have to rush him out onto the field.

I think Vick should have been added to the list. I don't believe he'll be back with the Eagles next season. That would also be an intriguing option. However, we still need people for him to throw the ball to.. I mean an actual, legitimate #1, and #2 receiver (Avery might make an ok #2). We could also use a clutch receiver. Decker from Minnesota would be my choice. 6'3", 220 pounds, good speed, incredible route runner, and he always finds a way to get open and CATCH THE BALL (Wes Welker comes to mind).

Re: When I dream, I see _____ starting at QB for the Rams in 2010.

To those that would question Vick's absence in this poll, Rams fans have had numerous threads to discuss their feelings on Vick. One of which being a poll conducted two weeks ago on this site, indicating that a majority of fans did not want Vick to be signed by the Rams. Thus, I don't think his inclusion would have made much of a difference here.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled topic...

Thanks for the clarification. I just thought, given our current FO ties to Atlanta, that Vick couldn't be ruled out as a prospect in the wide ranging dream scenario. With all due respect to the opinions of a majority on this board (albeit a very small majority).

Thanks again kind Sir. Carry on.

Troy Smith is intriguing. Although, I don't think I'd give much more than a 5th. He hasn't had much of a chance to show his stuff. He did score a TD in December. However, that was against Detroit. Heck, we beat Detroit. But it is an intriguing idea.

I voted for Jason Cambell because whenever I see him play he puts up solid numbers and is consistenly being harassed in the pocket( something that would happen in STL too)
