    Where the Game Was Lost

    Second-to-last drive: FALSE START, Alex Barron, 3rd and 15.

    Result- D.Jones punts 29 yards with the game on the line. New England scores.

    Final Drive: FALSE START, Richie Incognito, 3rd and 15.

    Result- Marc Bulger Intercepted throwing to Keenan Burton. Game Over.

    Speak all you will about the effort today, and how well we played without Jackson. We did. There's no doubting. But we lost the game on those two penalties, the first putting the Pats in advantageous field position, and the second ruining ours. Add this to the fact that Bulger received no protection up front on the following play, and I think you get what I'm driving at.

    Eugene Monroe, anyone?

    Good point about that punt.. put us in horrible field position. If we could just improve the pass blocking, I really think I'm starting to see a playoff team. Bulger will get more confident with more time. We've played the best the league has to offer, and now were moving into our easier schedule;

    Cards
    Jets
    Whiners
    Bears
    Dolphins
    Cardinals
    Seahawks
    Whiners
    Falcons..

    That's a very winnable schedule, but we've gotta win almost all of em'

    No we lost the game on the first drive... on New Englands 2 yard line, not being able to score a TD. Then again in the 3rd or 4th quarter on the goal line and having to settle for a FG.

    Settling for FG's that close to endzone will not help you win games in the NFL.
