Re: Where will Marc Bulger be one year from today (8/7/09)?
He'll be well on his way to the Hall of Fame, after throwing for 5,200 yards, 57 TDs with only 2 picks. And a QB rating of 148.

Re: Where will Marc Bulger be one year from today (8/7/09)?
I think he'll do enough to show us he hasn't lost it, but he still needs some more help to take us to the next level.
A solid year for him in this offense may be around 20 TDs and 3,000 yards as a HIGH point, just because I think we will have to focus on the running game to be successful.
I don't think he will be losing us games, and because of that, will remain as the starter as the Rams continue to build up talent.

There is no doubt in my mind that Marc will be a Pro Bowler this year. He has all the tools WHILE HEALTHY to be a top 5 quarterback in this league. With or without Avery, I believe Marc will put up top 5 numbers this year, reminding us of the old MB.

I voted on number two
It will come down to how he handles late game situations. Bulger is going to be fine with this revamped O-line and will not lose us any games in the first 3 quarters. But can he win them in the 4th...

Re: Where will Marc Bulger be one year from today (8/7/09)?
I think that Bulger will be struggling after six games or so and that Kyle Boller will be given a shot. With either QB the Rams will not make the playoffs. Next year the starter will be Boller with a rookie QB being groomed to be the future starter.

I do totally agree with you. There has never been a QB or will there ever be a QB who can perform at a high degree with the OL that we have. The first thing a team needs to build is an OL and we have one of the worst. If they can work together and give Marc some protection I think he could have a pro bowl year but that is something we will have to wait and see how they work together. I do have hope though.

I've been on Bulger for years now, and quite frankly can't believe were still "waiting" for him to be awesome.
Why do our backup QB's get the ball out quicker, and as usual look more comfortable than Bulger? I know, I know - he faced the Jets starters.
I hope we can trade him for a big time corner while the NFL still thinks he's good.

Given the number of times the Jets got to our quarterback, Bulger is not going to be able to pick himself up from the turf one day. At his age and past injuries, I'm afraid that he could get really hurt from the accumulative affect of all those sacks this year unless we fix what ails our offensive line.
