Where would you want to be a head coach?
What team can you turn around the fastest? Looking at the rosters I would say the Rams HC job is the second best job. If you are a head coach the chance to start wining right away, this is my order. And the west is not exactly the toughest division in the NFL to make the playoffs.
Kansas City
St Louis
Minnesota
Oakland
Green Bay
New York Jets
Houston
New Orleans
Detroit

If I had my picks from that list, I'd take the Minny job. Theirs is probably the most talented roster of any coaching vacancy. And after the PR nightmare that Tice's reign turned out to be, the next HC will look like a genius right out of the gate.

But if you were Mike Martz, you probably would want to go to the Lions or the Raiders.
Think about the Lions... They have 3 first round receivers and a decent defense. If they could just get a few O'lineman Martz could light it up for them. He could probably coach Harrrington, or bring in a vet....Even Kurt Warner.

I'd say rams, but that is a biased pick because they're obviously my favourite team.
So Kansas City sounds good.

Re: Where would you want to be a head coach?
Good question Rambos, But all things considered right now, I would prefer to be a coach in the NFC. This conference looks wide open and with a flawed team like Seattle as the "dominant" team there is plenty of room at the top and a new coach could be successful quickly.

KC or Minnesota. Rams in third. (front office issues may hold potential head coaches back). As always...
GO RAMS!!!

Oakland, for the same reason I'd want to coach Notre Dame in college. Even though I'm not a fan of either team. They have fiercely loyal fans and if you win you are a God.
