Re: Whew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's a win, within the division, on the road, in 103 degree heat.
If anyone can complain about that, they just don't understand today's NFL.
Good win Rams!

Rams defense = decent (C+ / B-). :angryram:
Now, if we could only get the Rams OFFENSE rev'd up!
PS: silly Falcons ... they should have defeated Seahawks today.

WHEW is right.... I think I bit off a couple of bottle tops on this one. Passing game is just not there yet. Bulger looked a little confused reading the defense again.

I understand the road thing seeing we only one 1-road game all last year. But what degree heat was our opponent playing in? I thought it was the same degree heat. I could understand slippery conditions being an advantage and not having the proper shoes for their footing. But don’t these players get hot every game and they should be conditioned as well as the other team I would hope.

A team that regularly plays games in that kind of weather is going to be better conditioned for it than other teams. It's the same reason playing outside up north in November or December can be tough on some southern teams.

Re: Whew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Up north in Nov. and Dec. is different normally the field conditions are different. Often players are wearing more clothing. This was an issue with Amman Green he used to wear a black arm brace that he kept having issues with because it would get wet and cause the ball to pop out easier which caused him to fumble. The players that go up north also may not be used to the numbness they may experience or the hardness of the ball or field. They also have problems with their cleats because the field can be soft or hard as a rock. But players that go to AZ they are used to being hot they are used to the field conditions when it’s hot. Granted its hotter and the home team plays there but I don’t see this as a huge advantage.
There are to many excuses for a near loss on the road to a bad team after losing the previous week to a bad team. We just see it differently as to the heat being a factor. I believe the road is a big factor especially for our team who struggles on the road. I will take the win and we are still in good position at 1-1 and heading home. Hopefully we will work things out at home because we need more road wins to be able to go far in the playoffs. I think Jackson is going to be good but I think they are still trying to get used to him. He brings a different aspect that we did not have which is a power back.

Oh, brother! Good grief. Alright Tanus, alright. Keep LYAO. I'll "upgrade" today's Rams defense score to a B+.
I would expect that you know that not giving up a TD all game does not necessarily mean a good performance. Agreed, my grade was off (in fact, I would even move it up again to an A-[?]).
My point was more in hoping that our OFFENSE cranks it up. Get it? :1:

Re: Whew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Real ram, i will take my chances of winning every week that we dont give up a td.
if i told you we werent going to give up a td for the rest of the year, wouldnt you think we would win just about every week, including the superbowl. Can the d play better, sure. But the issue right now is offense.

B+ is much better. The D won the game for us today. They deserve at least a B+.
