Who do you hope will grab the QB reins for the remainder of the year?

Obviously Kellen Clemens will start this week and its "his job to lose" for the duration of the year.

That said, if he fails to perform, I could see the Rams trying one of the two QBs signed today.

Who do you hope takes hold of the job?

I'd like to see Davis get a shot first. Probably mid-way through the 3rd quarter of the Seahawks game. : )

Went with Austin Davis. He showed promise last year but looked like butt this preseason. Want to see what he has when it really matters.

I vote Davis. We know what Clemens and Quinn are. Davis showed flashes last year before flatlining this year. I'd like to see what he has in games that count.

hope or not, all these guys will be gone next year so it really doesn't matter who gets and holds the job.
Brady Q will be a practicing lawyer someday soon and I know nothing about the other guy because obviously no one else wanted him in the first place.

LOL no i'm not that negative generally but I'm just cutting to the chase. The Rams year was over a couple games ago in the first place. All this years QB junk is academic and pointless.

IE it doesn't matter who's starting, they are losing the majority of games anyway

I think all three will play about the same, but i voted for Davis since i like him the best. Wish there was a Warner option lol.

Re: Who do you hope will grab the QB reins for the remainder of the year?

As a Notre Dame I'd want Quinn to suddenly become good enough to play in the NFL, but also as a Notre Dame fan I know that is highly unlikely. Clemens is terrible and has proved that on many occasions, so I guess that means I'll root for Davis.

To me it's like being asked if I'd like gonorrhea, syphilis or genital warts. I'd prefer none of the above. Man it's going to be a long season.

I guess I'll take gonorrhea (Clemens). He got to here some how, and he deserves it, winning the job by beating out Davis and Thadius Lewis, whom was my favorite.

Kellen is about to get some valuable experience to put in his resume.

I will go out on a limb and say that Clemmons will pleasantly surprise ram fans with his on field performance. Mark my words!!!

I sure hope you're right. I've been enjoying the season thusfar, even though we've struggled, and am not ready to write off the last 9 games.

I prefer Davis & Quinn to KC... went with BBBQ (Big Bad Brady Quinn) Hope he can get cooking but probably won't see action for a couple weeks. That means KC & Austin will get a huge shot to show what they can do against one of the hotter teams in the league. If they survive will be interesting to see who starts the game after the She Hawks!

I hate to say this but I predict Clemens will lose the starting job because of an injury. He will play ok for us but he's no Sam Bradford. My vote is for Brady Quinn by the way.

Re: Who do you hope will grab the QB reins for the remainder of the year?

I think a successful stint by Davis is not only more likely but offers the best upside in building the roster.Undoubtedly, it would be fun, imo. A run by KC would be hard to look at as anything but a pleasant fly-by-the-seat-of-yer-pants anomaly & his age relieves none of the pressure to build future QB depth.

I think BQ's innate accuracy issue will never be solved but a strong showing would still probably skyrocket his market price beyond what the Rams would want to spend on a back-up, much as The Anti-Sammian Society ( A.S.S.) would enjoy cooking up a QB controversy.
