Just because it's the Rams, Fisher will pass and take the Dolphins job and the Rams will settle for Horton. Not what I want, but what I expect to happen.

Fish. This team really needs that veteran coach. I feel like its would be a promise from a new owner. One that is a cheer heralding that this "losing" culture needs to be stomped out. With the hiring of a proven "winner" Stan would be saying just that. Pure speculation.

I've been wondering when people were finally going to come to that conclusion. Fisher is Spags + 17 years of HC experience. That said, I thought that we were an average offense away from winning the division, so I'm happy with Fisher if we get a good off. coordinator and a good line coach.

My desperation to see the Rams hire an experienced coach, probably has clouded my judgement a bit, in view of Fisher. But I still think he is easily the best out there now.! He is the only coach on the market who I think has that IT as coach. Whatever IT is. I also believe Fisher has what it takes, to do things differently in his next go around as coach. A little tweaking of his philosophies, is all that is needed. Then I think his drive and competitive nature will take care of the rest.

I predict that Fisher will not be the next Rams HC. I would like to see Marty Schottenheimer get the gig but I am going to predict that it will be Rod Chudzinski.

Here is why:
It's a better job! Fisher hand picks his own GM, will have the funds to put his type his rock star coaching staff together. The west is by far an easier division to win and have home field in the playoffs. Bradford will be in his third year vs getting a rookie QB to start with. SJ still has enough gas in the tank to win now and Fisher likes to pound the rock. Three very good young defensive players in Quinn, Long and Laurinaitis.

Its interesting to see how the vote has shifted during the course of today. Fisher is certainly looking less and less like the next Rams HC. I wonder, though, if this is really how its heading, or if the rumor mill is clouding the issue.
