I'd happily take Horton or Chud. Chud being my #1 option.

Billick gets the red carpet treatment after Fisher takes a swim.

A little paraphrasing here by Jeff Fisher, probably the Rams HC to-be...

I'll go with Chud on the assumption that Jeff goes to Miami. I don't really know where he's going, but Coach Fisher of the Dolphins would amuse me.

Ray Horton is like my anti-pick. One year as defensive coordinator of a bottom half defense? Puh-leaze!

The NFL is a trend-driven league, and right now the trend is "pass crazy teams are playoff teams". That's why they go Chudzinski.

I don't want Fisher, but comparing him to Spags simply because they have similar philosophies is a bit off base.
Seriously - among the 32 NFL Coaches out there, how many different philosophies really exist. One's either offensive minded or defensive minded, and furthermore, Billick and Belichek being perfect examples), the team doesn/t always seem to reflectt heir approach.

What Fisher brings is 17 years of HEAD COACHING experience, which means he knows what his job is and isn't. My hope is that if he comes aboard, he can get good, experienced assistant coaches, (ALA Vermiel), and MANAGE them along with all his other HEAD COACHING duties, (which btw, does not include taking down pictures and firing equipment managers).

And I agree his diva routine is getting old.
