I'll never ever ever ever ever want the whiners to win under any circumstances. Not even if they were playing a team made up of al-qaeda members.

I love how the niners utilize frank gore. Spread the defense out and call dive and trap plays with him.
The rams are not using Jackson to best of his abilities I feel plain and simple.
I really wanted SF to lose this game. I feel they're the biggest threat in the division. (besides the Rams of course :D)
Mike is correct, I DO NOT ROOT FOR OTHER TEAMS, regardless of the circumstances. That does mean I'm not pleased with certain outcomes, but during the game I do not root or cheer on one side or the other.
In this game I could see it being better for our Rams, in the grand scheme of things, for the seahacks to win. But there was no way in hell I'd root for them. In fact I did not even turn the game on until it was into the second half.
Under the "Hey Mike you better be careful what you wish for" category (wondering what I'd have to say about this thread).
Back in 2003, December 21 to be exact, our Rams were in the playoff hunt along with the eagles. At that time the battle was for home field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Rams and Eagles had identical 11-3 records prior to the game. Our Rams were at home against the bengals. The whiners were matched up that day @ eagles. A similar thread came up at the ClanRam, something along the lines of "will you root for the whiners". Well I can tell you it was quite disturbing to me to see all the avid whiner haters lining up to cheer on the hated rival to beat the eagles. But not me. In fact I fought vehemently against it. Well, we took care of business against the bengals and the whiners beat the eagles while those that rooted for the whiners were thankful and felt justified in doing so.
Oh, how I was sickened by so many Rams fans rooting for the hated whiners. And as it turned out they may have paid the price in doing so. In a sick and twisted turn of fate. Our Rams lost on the road the following week to the lowly lions. While the eagles won on the road against the skins. We ended up tied as the best two teams in the conference and the eagles held the tiebreaker. Yep, bad karma jumped up and bit us in the ass. And it carried right on into the infamous playoff loss to carolina two weeks later.
Now Mike, please, please tell me you were wrong, that night in St. Louis, when you said you'd root for 'any team' if it would help our Rams. Bad and terrible things can happen when you make deals with the football devils.:frown:
It is a great feeling to watch your team line up against the other top teams and have confidence as a fan that your team can take em .. It's been a while since I've felt that way - GSOT days actually.
Might as well insert my list of teams I really hate!
1) Whiners (I actually used to feel sorry for them before the Montana and Coach Walsh days when they really stunk to high heaven. Thanks to their coining of SOSAR, they will always be at the top of my list)
2) Patriots (no explanation needed I should think !!)
3) Cowgirls ( I have hated them for 40 years and have not mellowed one whit with regard to that team. I can't stand to listen or watch their owner either !!!!!!!!!!!)
