Who got you excited about this season?
Face it - over the last several years we, as fans, have had very little to be excited about. We can all say who is to blame for the "Fall of the Rams" in this century, whether it is Linehan, Shaw, Bulger, or even Martz. That's all ancient history as far as this season goes.
In 2011, we have a "New" Rams team - very few names have been on the roster for three seasons. We have a new owner, a new coach, and new staff. Our preseason win-loss record is better so far this season than our regular season record was in 2009.
It's hard for me to decide which one person is responsible for me being excited about my Rams this season. If I really must choose, I would say Sam Bradford. To see him throw a pass like that 83 yard play last night just brings back flashes of Warner...

Re: Who got you excited about this season?
All my thanks goes to Devaney, he's rebuilding this team the right way and that's through the draft and FAs (as band-aids). I would've said Kroenke but with the salary floor being enforced, even Chip could've been forced to spend with the ideal model Devaney's going after but he was the man responsible also for hiring Spags as our head coach as well.

Re: Who got you excited about this season?
The salary floor is league salary floor the league as a whole has to spend money. Meaning that the bungles and whatever any other team doesn't have to spend up to the cap as long as teams like the Skins over spend.
When it was first announced it sounded like all teams had to spend 98% this year but that turned out to be untrue it was the league as a whole that had to spend 98%.
I said Bradford but I should of said McDaniels. McDaniels as soon as he was brought in I got pumped about this year but I guess I couldn't be pumped unless we had Bradford to throw. Bradford had that effect last year and still does give me goosebumps that we have our guy at QB now.
This is a chicken and the egg question so many right answers.

Re: Who got you excited about this season?
For me its the defense. I thought we made some nice strides last year. With the FA additions, another year of experience under the belt, and Robert Quinn, I am ready to see the D crank it up to another level. Especially in the 2nd half of the year against our division rivals and their laughable quarterbacks.

Re: Who got you excited about this season?
For me, and especially after the Titan gtame, I would'nt pin anyones hopes and dreams on this defense. I know its preseason and it is way too early to write the Rams D off as a unit. The titan game was more of an abberation, I believe, than the norm.? But I do not see a big jump here. For me and most Ram fans its all about the QB. Ive already started noticing the improvement in Bradford in just a few quarters. I think Bradford worked on his athleticism in the lockout. I cannot wait to see him extend plays with his legs more this season, the ultimate in excitement to me.? A lot will depend on our WR's, Im leaning towards WR in the next draft though, which isnt a good sign. Some WR is going to have to help Sam out this season.?

I like the speed Norwood brings. He's gonna be huge.
Patient, not saintly.

Who is Williams?

Re: Who got you excited about this season?
Not having a lockout really got me excited for the season.
But out of the choices. Definitely the future we have with Sam Bradford also excited to see how Quinn - Long will work out for years to come.....Freeney - Mathis???

Re: Who got you excited about this season?
Marty Gillard, he is trying his but off to make the team and it shows. Whither he makes the team is anyones guess, but next game watch out. He is a man on a mission and that is to impress.
Cadilac looks good as well. About time we get a good running back to make Jackson better.
Dahl SP? Jackson talks about him and that is good enough for me. Said he will extend his career and I like that.
