    A lot of good options:

Kendricks hit the ground running and secured a starting spot.
Scott beat out FA signee Dan Muir for a spot on the DT rotation.
Williams beat the odds by beating out FA signee Zac Diles.
Harris found a bit of the fountain of youth to extend his career.
Hines beat out fellow draftee Jonathan Nelson.
Alexander continues to defy the odds.
Curry flew under the radar to become a Special Teams ace.

But my choice was Brandon Gibson. I had him pegged as a guy likely to be cut but, instead, he beat out Donnie Avery and Mardy Gilyard AND secured a starting spot.

All good options I went with Kendricks he just was amazing.

I could tell gibson was going to make it after I seen a amazing catch in linewood and a spectacular catch at the last practice.

Couldn't they use curry as a wide out too? Or is there a roster limit on how many u can suit up

A lot of good options is right. And a nice intro to the 2011 season!

My easy vote, Kendricks. But I'd like to know how the Rams coaches would vote in this pole.

I agree with you Av on Gibson. He needed to make a statement during the preseason just to keep a spot on the roster, and he came through in a big way to vault himself into a starting spot. There is nothing better than seeing a player you like dig deep and persevere.

    BTW, great question.

Re: Who had the best camp/preseason?

Kendricks has had all the stats, which is understandable with big Mike being dinged up, and McD's style favouring the TE. But I think an unheralded small school OLB like Jabara Williams has played just as good as Kendricks in his own way.? He gives the Rams some speed and playmaking ability at OLB. All for a 7th rounder.?

What intrigues me about him most is his supposedly 4.54 40 time. After he has added some bulk to his frame, the Rams will have a great athlete for the OLB position. Lets just hope he can learn the D without too much difficulty.?

    Christmas in September.

If you made a post pre-camp laying out some of your "hopes" for camp, all of these could have been on there. Now, they are realities.

Good time to be a fan of the St. Louis Rams.

Toss up between Gibson and Kendricks.

Went with Kendricks because of his rookiestatus. If there was ever a season for Gibson to blossom it was this season (3rd usually make your mark year for WRs)

Re: Who had the best camp/preseason?

I had to go with Gibson. From going to possibly being 5th-6th WR or cut to being the #1 or #2 wr is a huge change compared to what alot of people thought including myself. I been extremely impressed and pleased to see his progress and commitment!

Honorablemention would have to be Kendricks. He has not only learned the sytem quicly but puts it into action right away with all of his skills and assets. Proud we picked him. GJ FO

Re: Who had the best camp/preseason?

I had more faith in Gibby than most, it seems.I thought somebody would have to really pop to take his spot.

I'd like to give a nod to Cadillac. I didn't expect him to be so elusive or strong. His blocking & pass-catching have been good as well.Even when the runblocking hasn't been there, he always seems to find a way to finish heading north. In short, the class is still there & if he stays healthy, he could have a big impact this year, imo.

Jabara was a pleasant surprise, as was Hull, but did they win their spots by being that great or did Diggs and Diles just flop?

I went with LK.A few plays can be put down to luck, rookie hustle, or pre-season defensive struggles but he performed well all the way from the start of TC. He'll be a DC marked man now, of course, because of it but hopefully the chemistry with Sam will keep him on track.

Re: Who had the best camp/preseason?

I voted for Lance Kendricks he was just a work horse in practice and in the games....

Jabara Williams also looked very good..

Quinn also played well... he may be a force early.

Gibby did surprise but i think he started to play well at the end of last year.. but I agree thought he would not be here and certainly not the number two.

Salas for a fourth Rd WR in a battle will all those WR did stand out. Made some solid third down catches and he is much bigger then I thought seems to carry DB for a few yards on every catch.

From the little info I've gathered about this 22 year old, JW comes in as a highly dedicated, very hard working football player that is committed to improving no matter what (and that includes putting on 10-15 lbs). Seems to be serious about coming from a small college, learning tough, playing tough. Says he's got a lot to accomplish.

I also read that Coach Spags likes what he sees in this LB trainee.

I went with Jabara the Hutt. He was a 7th round draft pick, so simply making the team was a long shot. Not only did he make the team, but he also beat out a very athletic FA pickup (Diles) and a seasoned veteran (Diggs). Admittedly, those two weren't having the best of preseasons, but Williams still had an uphill battle. I like what the kid has shown thus far, and can't wait to see him after he bulks up and has a year or two under his belt.

As far as camp goes im going with Kendricks. I think he showed the most in preseason and had a high impact in camp. But the one that continues to intrigue me is Dom Curry. He showed tenacity, although very brief, and willingness to get after the ball on ST last year after making the team while it was unlikely for him to do so AND this year as well. Obviously, theres something to like about him and I think it might be a bit more than just playing ST, even though thats probably his main field.

Jabara The Hutt ?!! LOL....I guess it's more flattering than Jabara-bara Binks but not by much.
