Who should eat the biggest plate of crow?
I hate to play the hindsight game and to say "I told you so," but....
...wait a second...
I don't hate doing that at all!
Who deserves the biggest plate of crow?
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Who should eat the biggest plate of crow?
i voted "those who tried to put the bust label on Chris Long "...just because with the others it was a case of predicting the unknown..with Long it wasn`t so hard to see that he was not gonna be a bust..he just needed to have someone on the interior to give him help.

Re: Who should eat the biggest plate of crow?
Has to be those who had Clausen rated above Bradford. Mainly because this view actually came from people respected in the scouting business. I don't think I heard any expect bash the Saffold pick or label Long a bust and anyone who did believe those things isn't worth wasting a good "I told you so" on.

Re: Who should eat the biggest plate of crow?
I would of voted for myself but I chose the first choice
Reason being Bradford had me eating crow before the season even started because I thought at the time of the draft that we should of had Suh and Clausen instead.
But Bradford and Saffold for that matter proved to me that the Rams made the right choice here.

Re: Who should eat the biggest plate of crow?
If I had the option to choose other, it would be Trent Dilfer labeling Bradford a bust in an immediate knee-jerk manner. That's probably the only crow around that tastes real nasty.
But if I had to go with the choices, it'd be Jimmy Clausen being an NFL ready QB. At first I thought they both were going to do better but just Clausen will do much more. Oh lovely crow.. You leave the elegant taste of a medium rare fillet mignon within my savory glands.

Re: Who should eat the biggest plate of crow?
Those who tried to put the "bust" label on Chris Long.
Above all, I am most pleased by Chris' emergence as a true force. I was confident it was coming and it sure was nice watching it happen .... and it's just the beginning. Imagine when those countless qb pressures turn into sacks. If a team won their division seven straight times, that would be a NFL record. Now add on that team did it with seven different QB's in seven straight years, that record is unbeatable. To do that feat, you must of had a great Defense. Jack Youngblood was the captain of that defense.

Re: Who should eat the biggest plate of crow?
The fact that Jimmy Clausen looked like the LEAST NFL ready QB is hard to overlook. He was absolutely horrible and I cringe when I think where we'd be if he was the Rams "franchise" QB.

Kiper needs to eat crow since he had a huge man crush on Clausen...

Re: Who should eat the biggest plate of crow?
I voted Clausen, but an equal amount of crow needs to be served for the people that wailed that Jake Locker was the ultimate of ultimate quarterbacks and we were stupid to take Bradford when Locker was going to be available next year. Locker's stock hasn't plummeted like Clausen's, but it has dropped, and Bradford of course is Bradford.
However Clausen did look putrid. Worse than putrid. Hey, if being an NFL QB means throwing into the ground 2 yards in front of the receiver only 8 yards away, sign me up!
