Bradford did pretty good last season (Offensive ROY) with a lousy team around him. This season against better talent he hasn't looked as good. We won't know if he's an elite type QB for a few years down the road when he has good talent around him.

Take this poll down Tampa, its invalid.

But before you do let me just say that no Bradford is not part of the problem. Sure, he could be playing better, but so can literally everyone else on the team. Bradford has been surrounded by guys who can't hold blocks, get separation or catch the ball consistently all season. You put any QB in that situation and they will struggle. There are things Bradford needs to correct, and he will, but you can't make him the player scapegoat for this season.

Of course, I voted that Sam is part of the solution!

Anyone who thinks he is THE main problem needs to understand that this is like saying that Marshall Faulk was the problem with the 2000 Rams team not making it to the Super Bowl. Bradford is an excellent QB - there are few that are as good or better than him, and I seriously doubt that Aaron Rodgers could do any better with the Rams than what Sam has done.

Re: Who thinks bradford is part of the problem?

Bradford is like every other player and coach on this team right now: part of the problem. The difference is that he can be a major part of the solution going forward and that's not the case for every player, coach or FO staff right now.

With the horrid play of the OL and killer dropped passes all over the place, Bradford has been rattled a bit and fallen into some bad habits like locking on one WR from the snap, poor RZ performance, and a lack of awareness of his options at times. The good thing is that it's his 2nd year and I don't see any reason to panic over his play yet. When the OL can perform slightly better than "awful," the entire offense can recognize and react to blitzing, and WR's/TE's aren't dropping passes left and right, we'll see if Bradford is even in the mix of areas that need improvement.

Why there is hysteria over a simple poll question is beyond me.

Its coaching, not bradford. Bradford would win the superbowl behind New Englands O line.

With Bradford being injured today we can plainly see that he is not a part of the problem, to me it seems the seems to be the coaching staff, but what do I know.

Problem is not Bradford or Jackson.
But whoever is playing Qb seems to be getting the snot beat out of them.
Whoever is running the ball against us is doing well.

Football is won in the trenches, both ours are getting hammered...not the problem you like to have.

Re: Who thinks bradford is part of the problem?

It's hard to blame Bradford when the stats show the Rams giving up more sacks than anyone else in the league. Couple that with a new coordinator and a new offense, along with the lack of talent at wide receiver, and I don't think Bradford can perform anywhere near the level he can. The Rams asked for this problem by insisting upon entering a season without a number one or number two receiver! Now Bradford is hurt, and we can now see how effective A.J. Feeley will be. Besides, Bradford can't stop a rookie from rolling up 240 yards on the defense. There are a LOT of problems right now, but I don't think Bradford is one of them.

Re: Who thinks bradford is part of the problem?

ty cowpokes for proving my point. Bradford is not near the problem. Penalties, O-line, Run def, and may i point out the only wr consistantly showing up today was Lloyd, no one else was getting open like he was.

Bradford and jackson, ad now Lloyd, are part of the solution, get the players around them to play well too, and we will play great football.

Someone remind me, how many years did Rogers sit behind Farve?

How many years did Young sit behind Montana?

St. Louis is soooo bad that it can't afford the luxury of Sam learning behind a proven veteran....but GET REAL.

Simply put, Bradford is the QB for this team.

But even the greatest QBs of all time had to have help.

Re: Who thinks bradford is part of the problem?

Sam Bradford will never be a franchise QB... The Rams should draft Luck if given the chance... They might not get that chance though, Indy looked awful tonight, and they play in the tougher division... I'd say there's a good chance that Peyton Manning's playing somwhere else 2 or 3 seasons from now..
