    Who, whom, where and when?

After trailing 31-7 with 11:57 left in the game. Our RAMS came storming back to make it 31-28 after a 2pt conversion on a short pass to Marshall Faulk. With 2:36 left in the game our RAMS failed to recover an onside kick but did force their opponent to punt. However the punt was muffed and recovered by Brian Milne of the opponents which sealed the loss for our RAMS.

I'll never forget Az Hakim breaking my heart with that fumble. 2000 playoffs. We squeaked into the playoffs that year so it was at the Superdome against NO.

Thanks! It's sad, but that's what comes to mind whenever I think of Az Hakim. I really liked him as a player too.

My god I actually had forgotten about that. I can't believe it was in the year 2000.

The thing that made me laugh here, is every time they talk about Az Hakim I always think back to that muffed punt. Although I liked him alot I thought he was really good.

I only had really started watching football in 1996 and started being a Rams fan by about 1998 I finally decided to choose a team, I liked what Dick Vermeil was doing and the rest is history. Man, my cousin, brother and friends would not let that go.

    That was awesome. Thank you.

Re: Who, whom, where and when?

damn..like im sure quite a few i knew the answer..just too slow finding the thread.

i love AZ for what he done over the complete body of his work with us..but that fumble was a heartbreaker...after a season with struggles (on the D anyway) we were suddenly on fire and i think we would have gone back to the superbowl had we won that game with the Big Mo on our side.

imagine the GSOT locking horns with the Ravens of that year in the SB...that would have surely gone down as the best SB match up since the Steelers v Cowboys in the mid 70`s!!!
