Who will lead the Rams in receiving yards in 2012?

Pretty open field. Who will be the yardage leader?

While some of the younger stars have a chance at busting some long distance plays, I think total will still go to Danny for the number of catches he will get.

If Danny stays healthy, gotta go with him. I'd love to see another guy grab more yards than a healthy Danny though.

Who will lead the Rams in receiving yards I went with Quick. Amendola will lead in receptions though.

I went with Salas. He became a bit of a favorite of mine just before his injury. We worked well out of the slot and could make plays after first contact.
Him getting work on the outside makes the case for a starter job, and I think he is more ready to deliver, then the rookie class, early on.

You gotta catch a ton of passes 3 yards downfield to get to 1300 yards... it's a good thing that's exactly what Amendola does!
    I believe!

I voted Steve Smith...He is obviously our best WR if he stays healthy...

I think his line will be 900 yds 6td and lots of 1st downs...

***On a side note, if Danny leads our team in Yards, that is a bad sign and our record will have double digit loses....He can have 90 catches...but we need someone else to step up with longer plays****

Re: Who will lead the Rams in receiving yards in 2012?

Yea amendola might have been a beast in Bradford's rookie season and Quick may be the #1 WR but neither will lead the team in receiving yards or even receptions for that matter.

We are in Brian Shotty's playbook now which emphasis on the TE getting open so i think the leader will be Lance Kendricks

For the Jets Dustin Keller the team in recs and yards in 2011 and lead the team in rec in 2010 so Lance Kendicks will be a huge part of our success

Also remember in Oklahoma Bradford was soo successful going to TE gresham. Kendicks has so much potential its time to show it

EDIT: woww fail im the only one that has voted for kendricks so far

Re: Who will lead the Rams in receiving yards in 2012?

Hard to say, because I believe the ball will be spread around pretty evenly.

Plus we don't don't know how injuries will affect us.

But if I had to guess, I'd say Amendola just because of Bradford's familliarity with him, although I agree with Richtree, that is a bad sign.

Re: Who will lead the Rams in receiving yards in 2012?

Whether Amendola leading is a good or a bad thing depends on whether he has the same average yards per reception as he did in 2010. He only had an average of 8.1ypc, so of course his yards were low despite having over 80 catches. I bet that Sam will be able to spread the ball out more this year, which will in turn keep defenses from locking down on Danny.

He'll increase his YPC to at least 11, and with 90 balls, he'll be right close to 1000 yards. I was joking about 1300, but I think crossing the 1000 yard barrier is very doable if the field is opened up a bit by Quick, Kendricks, et al.

I was big on Kendricks after his preseason last year, but then he disappointed when it mattered. Sounds like he is having a good pre-season again, but I'll hold judgement until I can see him in real action.

Let's hope we'll see more of Kendricks and less of Handbricks
