I'm with Fisher. I'm expecting big things from Tavon Austin.

I'm surprised to see 25% of the voters feel the top receiver will be a guy who couldn't even crack the Titans game day roster the last quarter of last season.

This is such a toss up.

I went with Austin. Sam loves his slot receivers and I expect Austin to make a decent jump in year 2.

I went with Cook and I am amazed I am the only one so far, WoW! He is big enough to stay healthy had a excellent season for a TE in this organization and was building repoire with Sammy. Also I thought about Givens as he has said repoire with Sammy already. Didnot trust Tavon to stay on the field and everyone else is a huge question mark to me. Going to be fun to see where this recieving corps is at the end of next season. Also will Britt who got half as many votes as TA even make the team? Huge questions...

I went with Austin. He had a "disappointing" first season, but I feel a lot of sportwriters forget that very few WRs dazzle their rookie year. Although Austin did actually dazzle, but as Fisher pointed out, several huge plays got called back on penalties. It's even harder for the rookie WRs when the starting QB misses a lot of the season.

A full offseason to learn the playbook and get accustomed to the NFL, and I think Austin will really start to shine next year. We know he has the speed and the skill, he just needs to get his game up to the NFL level, and I really think he can and will.

    Agreed..

Isaac Bruce wasn't that fast, and Bailey reminds me of Ike a lot. Superb hands and a good heart for those YAC.

I think Bailey is going to be special.

Extremely early in the game, but yeah, Bailey's play made me think of Ike. I'm also thinking Bradford is going to want to go to a guy he can trust to run precise routes, and always catch the ball. I'm really excited about Stedman Bailey in 2014.

Kind of nice to see the race is between T. Austin and S. Bailey. The rest of the receiving corps productivity is gravy.

Re: Who will lead the Rams in receving yards in 2014?

I went with Cook. I think we have several good WR. I think Bailey and Quick are going to make the biggest gains. Austin will spark the biggest plays, and have lots of TDs in various forms, but I don't think he's going to eat up a lot of the reception totals. I think Quick is going to get every chance to shine - the love him as a blocker, and that means he'll be on the field a lot for a run oriented offense if we see the same offense as the end of last year. He's got the biggest chance to take the next big step, but then, he's also got the furthest to go.

So I think we'll see the WRs all getting significant time split among them, and the entire group doing well. But because of that we'll see a lot of diffusion in the receiving totals. Cook is inconsistent but can dominate, and I think we'll see a lot of him on the field, especially if he can become a better run blocker. Certainly that's the result the Rams coaches WANT to see.

    Cook, 800 yds, 6 TD
    Britt, 650 yds, 5 TD
    Bailey, 600 yds, 3 TD
    Austin, 550 yds, 8 Td
    Quick, 500 yds, 6 TD
    Givens, 450 yds, 5 TD
    Kendricks, 250 yds, 4 TD

Quick and Kendricks however will be a lot more important than their passing numbers indicate because they will be big factors in the run first game.

I think we are in pretty good shape with a very deep WR corps, as long as we've got a QB standing upright at the end of the year that can distribute the ball.

Bailey. Bradford seems to favor guys with good hands that can run routes and be where they should be. Bailey fits that bill the best.

That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if Austin has the most TOTAL yards form scrimmage. I'm expecting Austin to continue getting some reverses, laterals, etc. 200+ rushing yards from him this year isn't a stretch.
