Who will be the next Ram to make his first Pro Bowl?

There are currently five Rams on the roster who have made the Pro Bowl (as Rams players): Steven Jackson, Marc Bulger, Torry Holt, Orlando Pace and Leonard Little.

Who will be the next Ram player to make his first Pro Bowl?

Re: Who will be the next Ram to make his first Pro Bowl?

The one vote for Tye Hill on here is from me. That's right, me. I want this kid to succeed but he just hasn't yet. He's the key to the secondary and without him playing at a higher level than he is now won't cut it. He has got to be better, no matter how intense or lack of intensity the pass rush is. He can, he has the speed. Now just do it.

Re: Who will be the next Ram to make his first Pro Bowl?

Will Witherspoon should have made it last year, I will say spoon, now that we know he can rush the QB. Heck he may get 10 sacks this year, we did not use him until the second half, as a rusher.

Re: Who will be the next Ram to make his first Pro Bowl?

It should be Spoon, but I think the NFC's Safety corp will be easier to crack than the LB corp, so I'll go with Atogwe.

Re: Who will be the next Ram to make his first Pro Bowl?

I voted for Tye Hill. IMO ti is a toss-up between Hill and Atogwe. I believe we'll generate an improved pass rush this year which should help. More than anything, better luck with injuries will go a long way towards Ram players receiving an invite to the Pro Bowl. Having as many starters as possible play in all 16 games would be a great start towards Ram players gaining Pro Bowl recognition.

I think it's going to be Spoon. With an improved DL, he is going to hit another gear in 2008. It wouldn't surprise me at all though if it turns out to be Hill or Atogwe.

That's pretty much what I think. I voted Witherspoon too, but could have picked Atogwe as well. Both of them could be going if they play as well as last year.

Re: Who will be the next Ram to make his first Pro Bowl?

Atogwe. The only reason he didn't go last season was the lack of success our team was doing. If he was placed on a better team, he wouldve definately gone.

My second guess would be Will Witherspoon. Either way, someone on our D will make it.

SPOOOOOOOON! Clearly a pro bowl caliber guy already without any improvement. If the rams win, he will make it. If the rams have another terrible season, none of them will make it no matter how well they play.

ramming speed to all

Re: Who will be the next Ram to make his first Pro Bowl?

O.J. should have went last year, but we were nowhere near a popular team, and the Pro Bowl is very close to just a popularity contest anyway.
Now that he's got his name out some, another very good year should send him.

Witherspoon........but not for these reasons. If the Rams have to use him to get pressure on the QB.......

I'm not saying they have too, I'm saying they will, after finding he has a nack for it. Making tackles is not enough to get to the pro bowl.
