    Brian Quick.....

He is going to slowly emerge as the talent we are hoping for...

I have to say... that TD catch was a significant play in that it really showed how his size can make him dangerous.

It was also the same drive in which he didn't run the right route and got boinked in the head with the ball. He showed some mental toughness in getting back out there and making up for it. Kudos for the coaching staff giving him the opportunity.

Chris Long. Mostly quiet 1st quarter of the season. If he can improve his play (some say he's got an unlisted injury) and ramp up the run d and pass rush a bit, (could help take some pressure off the secondary) and the Defense as a whole could really start to purr

Seriously... can we give the salary thing a rest already? Its boring, and adds nothing to the conversation.
That is your opinion and I respect the fact that you don't mind him making that kind of money and performing as he has. On the other hand, there are many who expect him to perform at least somewhere in the vacinity of his salary. So whether you're bored or don't think talking about it adds anything to the conversation, the reality is, until he consistently plays up to standard, the subject will be brought up.

Sorry, but that's just the way it is.

There may be 2-3 players who are performing at the level of Sam's salary (if any). Its irrelevant at this point.

Agree wholeheartedly with your first sentence. And that's why I'm willing to bet my life there's at least other fan somewhere ripping a player for the salary he makes versus his performance.

Point is as I stated before, that's just the way it is and always will be.

So what? There are always fans who rip something. Its still boring and irrelevant.
