Who will be the starting No. 2 WR on opening day?

Who will emerge as the starter opposite Donnie Avery?

I'm looking for Laurent Robinson to emerge as the guy but right now I think its Burton's job to lose. Both are good young and fast wide receivers and I hope that they are able to get a good pass game going to take the 8 men out of the box.

lol it's week 1 in football not opening day.

But i voted for Dane Looker!

The question was about week 1 only not the season. I see Keenan Burton as more of a slot receiver. And we just acquired Jackson. So i think Looker will start the first 2 weeks than we will see Jackson (who is also a better slot receiver) and burton with some type of spilt in starts at #2.

Foster i think is 1-2 years away from developing into a good WR.

I'm hoping Laurent Robinson can be our WR opposite of Avery. I thought we could have adressed this well in the 3rd round with Tate or Ramses sitting there ready to be plucked, but I was let down. I am however excited about Fletcher from everything I've heard so far and from watching the practice video.

IS Dane Looker even on the team still? I voted for someone else not yet on the roster. Spags will bring in an Amani Toomer

I say Avery will be the # 2 receiver after we make a deal for Bouldin.

Re: Who will be the starting No. 2 WR on opening day?

I think that it will be Burton. Robinson could emerge as the #2 guy by the end of the year, but i think that Burton will be the guy to start. Brooks Foster is a VERY pro ready receiver, coming out of Butch Davis' pro style offense. But, he is a guy who will be more effective in the slot to start with because he has trouble getting off the jam. I'd say that Avery and Burton will be the starters. With Robinson and Foster splitting time in the slot.

Laurent Robinson. Because that's where Madden automatically puts him on my roster =). I hope it's right and that he can help us out a little with his speed.

Sorry Avenger, got some problems with the question above and the pole question.

Who emerges opposite Avery is one question. Who will be the #2 is another completely different question in my mind.

To answer both questions, I think Robinson will emerge opposite Avery, and be the go to guy, the primary, by a slight margin between the two. I think he has the tools, not that Avery doesn't. I can't see either getting to more than 65 receptions with this receiving corps though. The ball will be spread around and WRs rotated in. SJ will be the teams leading reciever if I were to guess.

Truly its just a hunch. Things never seem to really work out the way they look like they will. So something like this wouldn't surprise me one bit.

I made a bad pick because DANE LOOKER IS NOT A RAM ANYMORE. lol i would like to make my choice the someone else now. Amani Toomer or some other WR.
