Who would win between All-time Chiefs vs. All-time Rams (this includes LA Rams)
I was just thinking about this. Rams would be deadly offensively but I think the Chiefs could be just as deadly on the defensive side of the ball. Here's what would be my all time KC team and feel free to counter the positions with STL players. If anything I would be fun seeing that KC defense trying to stop the Rams offense.
QB - Len Dawson
RB - Priest Holmes
FB - Tony Richardson
TE - Tony Gonzalez
WR - Otis Taylor
WR - Stephon Paige
OT - Willie Roaf
OT - John Alt
OG - Will Sheilds
OG - Dave Szott
C - Tim Grunhard
DE - Neil Smith
DE - Art Still
DT - Buck Buchanan
DT - Dan Saleamua
OLB - Derrick Thomas
MLB - Bobby Bell
OLB - Willie Lanier
CB - James Hasty
CB - Albert Lewis
S - Deron Cherry
S - Mark Collins

Re: Who would win between All-time Chiefs vs. All-time Rams (this includes LA Rams)
Fair, honest, and interesting question of yours, Shredder.
I know the K.C. Chiefs have some truly great players in their history, some of which I remember and admired during my first and fond memories as an NFL fan, ca. 1965 (Bobby Bell, for example).
Below is my personal list of Rams placed next to your respectable Chiefs. AV has already highlited the Rams HOF names above.
More than one Ram player means a 'rotational system'. Wink ;-)
QB - Len Dawson // Roman Gabriel (1962-72); Kurt Warner (1998-03)
RB - Priest Holmes // Dick Bass (1960-69); Eric Dickerson (1983-87); Marshall Faulk (1999-05)
FB - Tony Richardson // Les Josephson (1964-74); Madison Hedgecock (2005 --)
TE - Tony Gonzalez // Billy Truax (1964-70)
WR - Otis Taylor // Jack Snow (1965-75); Torry Holt (1999 --)
WR - Stephon Paige // Isaac Bruce (1994 --); Elroy Hirsch (1949-57)
OT - Willie Roaf // Bob Brown (1969-70)
OT - John Alt // Charlie Cowan (1961-75); Orlando Pace (1997 --)
OG - Will Sheilds // Tom Mack (1966-78)
OG - Dave Szott // Joe Scibelli (1961-75); Dennis Harrah (1975-87)
C - Tim Grunhard // Ken Iman (1965-74); Doug Smith (1978-81)
DE - Neil Smith // Deacon Jones (1961-71)
DE - Art Still // Jack Youngblood (1971-84); Leonard Little (1999 --)
DT - Buck Buchanan // Merlin Olsen (1962-76)
DT - Dan Saleamua // Rosie Grier (1963-66); Roger Brown (1967-69)
OLB - Derrick Thomas // Jack Pardee (1957-70); Kevin Green (1985-92)
MLB - Bobby Bell // Les Richter (1954-62); Myron Pottios (1966-70); Hacksaw Reynolds (1970-80)
OLB - Willie Lanier // Maxie Baughan (1966-70); Isiah Robertson (1971-78)
CB - James Hasty // Irv Cross (1966-68); Dick Lane (1953-53)
CB - Albert Lewis // Aeneas Williams (2001-04)
S - Deron Cherry // Eddie Meador (1959-79)
S - Mark Collins // Nolan Cromwell (1977-87)
PS: Shredder, could you please write in the years your Chiefs played? For the fun of it. Thanks.Last edited by RealRam; -05-04-2007 at 12:54 AM. Reason: PS

Maybe the white and blue uniform. At least for one season. Off topic, but the Cards started wearing their traditional uniforms (without the red/white and blue stripes on the sleeves) in their 100th year in 1992. I think it will be like a history lesson for STL fans by wearing the old school uniform.

Re: Who would win between All-time Chiefs vs. All-time Rams (this includes LA Rams)
Shredder, are you around?
Just found out that the 1st clash between the Chiefs and the Rams took place in Sept. of 1973 in K.C., with us leaving winners 23-13.
As mentioned earlier, I began 'feeling' the NFL bug in 1964 and totally fell in love with the Rams -- mainly because of that classy uniform -- in 1965. ...But I remember some of the great Chiefs names like big DL Buck Buckanan, little RB Mike Garrett, DL Jerry Mays, QB Pete Beathard, TE Fred Arbanas, etc.
Had forgotten that, sadly, Buchanan and Mays passed much too soon in the early 90s. Also forgot that Willie Ellison, a very fine Rams RB, ended his career playing the last two years for the Chiefs.
