Both this game and the Texans game were played in 95 degree heat with high humidity, which is tough for a team from the Northwest where 95 percent of all humidity comes in the form of a 50 degree rain shower And the one one loss the Hawks have had this year came as a result of a fluke blocked field goal and a bunch of drive extending PI calls.

Listen, you guys SHOULD be able to use your strong DE play to cause some issues with our backup tackles tonight as both Okung and Giacomini have been out for a few weeks. The parity in the NFL also results in a lot of teams losing games that it appears that they should win. So you guys do clearly have a chance, but 1980RAMS is just calling it as pretty much the rest of the country sees it from the outside.

Here's to an injury free game for both teams!
well yea, which is calling it while you're not paying attention lol

    and yes, injury free game

A blowout would have easier to take than giving one away.

I prefer my team to show heart in the face of overwhelming odds, as they did. But that's just me.

A bitter, bitter pill to swallow. Just sick to my stomach we couldn't find a way to punch it in at the end.

I prefer heart too, but for me, its hurts more to lose a game that should have been won than to be on the wrong side of a blowout.

Yes, I see that. We'll just disagree.

And BTW 1980, I hope next time we'll be a little more optimistic and loyal to seeing the Rams win even if just barely, rather than calling a game a blowout defeat in advance.

    We were SO CLOSE!

Really? We lost our QB, our team leader, we are on National TV playing the greatest team since sliced bread (lol) and NOBODY outside of the Ram fan world, gave us any chance at all. But wait, we turned in one of the best performances on the defensive side in years. Our back up (less then stellar) QB drove us to the 1 yard line. We had a chance. We played well enough to win......But...

I am very disappointed in not pulling out the victory. But I too find solace in our performance and the fact it was not a blow out as many expected.
