    Whose out at WR

With the two picks, promising picks, coming in, whose going byebye.

I say Looker is done. No Wilkins, no need for the special Wilkins holder.....thank you, good luck in future endeavors.

I think that the Hagans experiment is over. Stanley's tryout at returner late last season finishes him off.

Linehan will need some extra room for TEs you know.

I think Stanley and the rook's have a shot of surprising people this season. It's a matter of opportunity, and once Bennett sprains a hair folical, any one of the rookies or Stanley may step in and show some more players to be expendable.

    Thoughts?

As much as i hate to say it Looker is out the door. I think Hall might go due to his age and cap number, and Hagans will have to have a great camp to stick around

Looker and haggans are gone and Danta Hall might be on his way out with his Salary for just his return duties...

    Re: Whose out at WR

Assume they carry 6, maybe 7, WRs:

    Sure Things:
    T.Holt
    D.Bennett
    D.Avery
    K.Burton

    Favorites for remaining spots:
    D.Hall
    R.Caldwell
    D.Stanley

    Probably gone:
    M.Hagans
    D.Looker

    Buh-bye:
    E.Fowler
    B.Williams

I'd say Bennett should look over his shoulder. Especially if he is going on injury list every time he stubs his toe.

    D.Bennett

I want to keep as many O linemen as possible...

    Wouldn't you go with 6 WR's then?

I say we go with these 6 (unless things change in camp):

    Holt #1 (no question there)
Bennett #2 (by neccesity, not that he earned anything yet)
Avery #3 (looks like a good #3 with that speed - nickelbacks watch out)
Burton #4 (should get more playing time than most #4 guys IMO - I like him)
Hall #5 (has the return job so far, may change in camp)
Stanley #6 (provides depth, as WR and returner)

Never saw any reason for us to sign Caldwell in the first place.
Hagans is the odd-man out because Stanley can do the same, only better.
Looker is gone because Wilkins is gone - time to train a new holder anyway.

And I also want to take an extra O-lineman into the season so there is no way I would go with more than 6 WR's.

    Re: Whose out at WR

    IN:
    Holt, Bennett, Avery, Burton

    OUT:
    Looker, Hagans

    CUSP:
    Stanley, Hall, Caldwell

I figure we'll have five on the roster plus one on the practice squad.

I say Looker and Hagans are out for sure. Who knows, it could be Stanley and Hagans. The Rams may keep Looker for kick holding reasons anyways.

OK make it six, let R.Caldwell and D.Stanley compete. i think we need to work with the you Linemen, I don't want to cut and try and resign one and lose the guy.

Looker, Hagans, Hall. Hall becuase we have so many guys who can return kicks Avery, Burton, King, and Stanley who are younger and faster with more upside as receivers.

    Re: Whose out at WR

It's going to be very interesting to see how the WR depth chart shakes out. I've always rooted for Hagans to make an impact and prove his worth, but he's never really taken advantage of his shots and he's most likely not going to make it back.

    Re: Whose out at WR

    Looker is gone, no doubt.
Hagans looked good, but Stanley looked a bit better, and I think only one will stay.
Hall looked good at times, but will the Rams want to try Stanley there rather than keep Hall?
