The why, in my opinion, is because Bradford needs all of the real time reps he can get.
Don't get me wrong I love Bradford and think he will be a stud... but for now he has some issues he needs to work out. The key part is the working.
My bet is that if there was any question, he would choose to stay in the game. As long as he is healthy, he is going to stay on the field with his teammates. But who knows?
Why was Flacco in the game so late still tossing the ball around when the Ravens should have been running clock?

I guess I can understand him getting the experience and reps. Just hated our line not protecting him. He is going to be a stud when he gets a nice receiver like Blackmon or kid from ND.
This isn't preseason anymore. We play to win here until the last second of the game. Or well by Spags standards, lets punt the ball with 4 minutes left while were down. Im actually surprised he wasn't benched now that I think of it.
New offense and no off-season to install it or get acclimated. He needs the reps, as others have pointed out...
He had to give up his traditional fumble and TD to the opposing team. :o
