OrlandoPaceIsMyHero - is moving towards the light
Why (possibly) losing Ike is not the end of the world...

I'll start by saying that I love Issac Bruce and I respect him tremendously. He is a great reciever and exhibits a humility and poise on the field that all recievers should seek to emulate.

However...

We have enough talent at WR on this team to do fine without him. Holt and Curtis, backed by Looker and McDonald, will still be better than most teams' recieving corps.

Sorry, but he just isn't worth the kind of money that he SEEMS to be asking for. No #2 WR is. You need an offensive line and a defense in order to get that guy the ball and give him a chance to win games. I like what the Rams are doing by showing that their priority is to WIN GAMES rather than preserve sentimentally valuable players who are NOT that important when it comes down to winning games (WHAT #2 or maybe even #1 WR is?!?!).

Still, I hope we can resign Bruce because like I said before, I love him as a player.

Kudos to the Rams management for showing their commitment to winning.

Re: Why (possibly) losing Ike is not the end of the world...

Because he is the only Original LA Ram left on the St. Louis Rams. People will get over it but he has been such a great competitor for the Rams organization and been such a great guy and also a Fan Favorite. Alot of players/coachs/fans across the NFL respect and love Isaac Bruce. He is just such a good guy and his history of him and the Rams is uncomparable. Its a sad day. Thats why!
