    Will Jackson Break 1,000 Yards?

Do you guys think that Steven can break the 1,000 yard rushing mark for the 4th straight season? He currently has 525 rushing yards. So he has 5 games to get 475 more yards. That is an average of 95 yards per game. It could be hard for him because our o-line isn't exactly perfect. Our remaining opponents are currently ranked 9th, 8th, 22nd, 14th, and 21st against the run. So what do you think?

Nope...will not happen. One, our offense is in a shambles, and two, he wimped out the last five games. I'm not sayin' nothin', I'm jus' sayin'.

I think he will try and give it his all , but, behind that line, he will most likely fall short. The o-line's next game will dictate if he gets past 1000 yards or not. As of now I doubt it.

Yikes. Hard to see it happening, but if anyone can make it happen, it's Jackson.

    Can he?.. Yes.
Will he, dunno, but reckon we have bigger issues at the moment. Although it does give us something else to focus on.

He can't do it by himself but he's gonna have to. This line isn't blocking anyone and our big bruising running back is just too easily bruised. Not gonna happen.

Behind this line, he'll be lucky to get to 600! 1000, no way.

I don't think so, unless he gets there by halftime. He won't have a chance because we will be playing from FAR behind after halftime

Its hard to say, Dolphins run D is either great or terrible. Don't know what we will see sunday, but they are coming out fired up after last week.

Re: Will Jackson Break 1,000 Yards?

Jackson is averaging 112 yards from scrimmage per game. Not sure what his rushing avg per game is, but i highly doubt its near the 95 mark you say he'll need to eclipse 1,000. Besides, that avg amount presumes SJ will be playing in all of the remaining games.... a prospect recent history casts a great big giant shadow of a doubt over.

it can be done, but its a real stretch; especially for a guy who missed training camp and has missed as many games this season as he's played. I don't think he'll "get'r done."

Re: Will Jackson Break 1,000 Yards?

Hopefully Jackson (IF HE PLAYS) can be enough of a concern that Miami's defense has to play honest and Bulger gets that extra split second which sometimes makes all the difference between a completed pass and the inc or int.

I think that if anyone in the NFL can do it, it will be Steven Jackson.

He's a hard runner and he doesn't stop. I believe that if he can stay healthy through out the rest of the season, he will break it. Not by much, but will by a little.
