    Will Jason Smith be okay?

I heard on the radio awhile ago that Jason Smith suffered a SERIOUS concussion injury and that it may affect his ability to play football for the rest of his career. Does anyone have any updates on him? How is he doing?

The knee injury that sent center Jason Brown to the sideline late in the first half was diagnosed as a moderate sprain. "We'll see if we can't get him to Wednesday's practice, but we'll tread lightly on that one," Spagnuolo said.

Dec 10 Smith (concussion) has still not passed the baseline neurological exam despite having taken it three times since his concussion three weeks ago, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Recommendation: Smith, the club's starting right tackle and No. 2 player taken in last year's draft, decided to see an independent neuro consultant on Tuesday and also got an MRI. Though no additional cause for concern was seen one has to wonder if Smith's year might come to an premature end because the club certainly doesn't want to take any chances with its future left tackle.

Your announcement is unfounded. The above is what I was able to find.

It was on ESPN radio 101.1 with DeMarco Farr and Randy Karrakar about a week ago.
