The players didn't seem to respond well to his attempt at firing the players up it looked like they played with less enthusiasm if Olsen doesn't go i don't know what i would do

Here's the reality. This team has quit on its HC. Linehan has never been a HC at any level and appears in over his head. He has no history to fall back on. I suspect the players dont believe in him, arent responding to him, and possibly dont respect him as a HC that can lead them out of this.
The seats at the ED will be emptying out. It is easy to see less than 5 wins for the Rams this year, just go through the schedule. We have only 6 home game left and may reasonably split those. Shaw will be hard pressed to retain Linehan if the players quit on him and no one is coming to the games.
Will Linehan get fired if all these bad things happen? I think so. Will all these bad things happen. Probably.
