Will Martz Have The Right Gameplan For Today?
what kind of gameplan do you think Martz has prepared for todays game?
will it be a balanced gameplan? unlikely!
will it be the running game to set up the pass? unlikely!
will it be alot of passing and a little running? most likely!
but you never know what the mad man is going to do. I sincerely hope that he has the right gameplan prepared for today.
one thing to remember. just because it worked the last time ( or the last 2 times ) does not mean it will work again. Seattle has been studying the tapes and would be prepared to counter that gameplan if Martz uses it again. he must change his gameplan ( if only a little ) to keep the Seahawks guessing and unprepared.
if he comes out throwing 17 times to start the game like he did during their last meeting, the Seahawks will be prepared. it worked last time because Martz didn't do that in their 1st game and the Seahawks were not prepared for that.
let's hope he comes up with something the Seahawks will not be prepared for........................like a balanced gameplan.

Re: Will Martz Have The Right Gameplan For Today?
I'm hoping for a healthy dose of Stephen Jackson today. Nobody has shown that they can shut him down for long. Mix that in with our impressive passing attack and the offense is unstoppable. We must keep our turnovers to a minimum as well. That has really hurt us this year.
The wild cards (no pun intended) in this game are special teams coverage and our defense continuing to excel as they have over the last 5 games.
This should be a good one!

Viper-
congrats on your trophy. looks great!
I agree with your assessment. that should be the gameplan. I'm just worried that Martz doesn't agree with us.

After watching game film...

IMO we should come out and attack early with the pass.
Make Husselonhisback throw often to thier inept receivers.
Once we are ahead, we can run the ball down thier throat.
Special teams needs to be VERY special today and not give them good field position.
The D needs to string the run out and not commit too early in order to slow the ME back down.
Should be a good victory!

I hope so....the best thing would be to jump on them early and make them have to play catch-up....that might limit Alexander's effectiveness.

We got a nice mix from Martz today. Fast and furious to start out with, followed up by a nice use of the running game to control the clock and the game.
Nice!!!![SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
