he's really came on of late. He's got 4.5 sacks in his last 5 games and with Long, Quinn, Sims and Hayes we now have a nice rotation at the end position.
I really hope we are able to resign him this offseason.

Hopefully Hayes will want to stick around and be a rotational Player. I wouldn't mind a rotation of long, Quinn, Hayes, and Sims. That rotation can be deadly..
I hope he's happy here. Been a terrific addition. Was amazing vs the run last week vs AP, and a very good pass rusher. I love having him as a rotational guy.
Hes has been a great addition and a key contributor as of late.Ill give him the love he is playing nicely as a rotation player im loving it!!We need to bring him back for the future.
i hope hayes and sims stay as well
He was playing loads today in the fourth quarter. Mostly at DT it seemed, but it worked!
Willie Mays Hayes has been huge for us. I didnt think much of this signing in the offseason but I now agree with those who want to see him back next year. The whole D line has started to live up to their potential and are playing some nice ball!
A great contributor to our tied for 3rd league lead in sacks. Provides great run support to Quinn's pass rush, as well as a pass rush of his own. I really hope he comes back. He seems to be playing enough to be content as a rotational end.
Hayes has been a fantastic acquisition. He plays the run much better than either Long or Quinn and is ungodly strong on the bull rush to the QB. I just hope that his success hasn't put him out of range of the Rams' budget for next year. I wouldn't really like to see him back.
William Hayes is a Fisher player, I'm sure he'll stick around where it's fair for both sides.
Great pickup last offseason. I thought he was just going to be a run of the mill kind of player but man was i wrong. Really hope we sign him long term.
Sims has REALLY stepped up as well. This 'street fight' type defense is a great fit for him.
Cudjo has also been a pleasant surprise.
thought I'd bump this since Hayes had another solid game against the Seahawks. He ended up with 7 sacks and 5.5 in the last 6 games and all as a back up.
We really need to resign him.
I worry that it will be difficult to keep him after the season he's had. It would not surprise me if he wanted to cash in on a great year by signing a big contract with someone else to try his hand at being a full time starter. Can't really blame him if that's what he chooses to do, but I'd love to see him stay as a rotational force on the Rams' DL.
