Winning - Something to get used to?

What I saw on the field was a bit shaky at first, but the Rams were able to recover. This time doing it without SJax The Beast, hope he will be serviceable next week. Our receivers look like they are starting to come together. Clayton was very impressive as was Armendola. Gibson had a few drops, but made slight improvement. We are still a few pieces away from being an elite group, but our defense will keep us in games, hence we are have to start getting used to winning!!!

Well the defense yielded a large chuck of rush yardage but they were able to keep them at 16 pts so I'm above satisfactory on them, Seattle looks solid but beatable without the home field advantage momentum on their favor. Best game I've seen in awhile since giving Dallas a good spanking. Hopefully Jackson and Atogwe will be good for next week.

I wish I could be more supportive, but the Skins have been showing this 2n half weakness since game one.

There were Redskins falling down to allow some of that success,
so keeping a sober mind about where the Rams are at will probably save
you some broken furniture and children learning words on game day
that you don't really want them repeating.

What did show well for the Rams was the composure.
I would be pleased with the base character of the team.
They reacted like champs, even if they don't have the skill level to pull it off yet.

The real purpose of invading this thread, however,
is to leave the note that losing to the Rams stinks.

Losing to YOU folks isn't so bad.
    Nice community.

Re: Winning - Something to get used to?

    My Observations-

We Won. first and foremost that is the bottom line.

    however there was more...

Bradford is the real deal holyfield.

our O-line played their best game in about 4 years...everyone of them showed they can play at a high level...is great to see the same 5 play 3 consecutive games now..long may it continue.

we can play atleast a half of football without Jax and still win.

we have more than just Bartell & O.J in the secondary...James Butler had his best game in a Rams uni..and tho Fletch gave up a big P.I. he showed he can be a good Corner for us ..Darian Stewart filled in well for O.J too.

Laurinaitis is a beast...with a great football brain..reminds me of Hacksaw.

James Hall don`t look like he`s on the last legs of his career.

i don`t think i`ve seen a player play so well week in week out with such misleading stats than Chris Long.

Amendola is a straight out baller.

Darby showed that he can move the chains aslong as the O-line is performing...which basically is just like every other RB not named Steven Jackson.

Fells brought his A game today.

Jason Brown is the best Centre we`ve had in a very long time.

Pat Shurmur CAN run an offense.

we CAN make half time adjustments...we were being gashed in the second Q...we didn`t in the second half. they opened with one good drive to start the second half then got shut down the final 27 minutes.

Gibson & Gilyard after both having shaky starts, stepped up and made plays.

Fendi O looked pretty good out there when you consider how little football of any quality he has played, let alone the elite NFL.

Larry Grant has something we can work with and hopefully improve..not the finished article by any means..but he can make some plays.

    Clayton continues to impress.

i`m so glad Bradford isn`t spending his rookie season holding a clipboard.

we have shown in back to back weeks that we can defend against upper tier TE`s.

I was SO torn on this going into the season. But now I believe this will be a solid year of building for Sam, let alone putting the team into a winning mode earlier than expected...I hope.

It certainly feels good to experience a win again and be able to wake up on a Monday morning and not be disgusted with the previous day's game.

Bradford is the real deal- there's no question about it. He will undoubtedly make his share of mistakes and take some lumps in year one, but he is the guy to lead the Rams for the next 10-12 years.

Re: Winning - Something to get used to?

A win like this makes the losses from the first two weeks seem like more of a fluke than fate. Winning today restores a lot of faith that I had, but was beginning to doubt, in our coaching staff. After last week's loss, I wasn't sure we had the football IQ within our players and our coaches to be successful in this league. I know this is obvious to most of you, but I feel that next week's game with the Hawks will be a defining moment for this team and the season. A win will go a long way to changing the culture of this team. Much like a kid learning to ride a bike, until he does it, he can't know what it feels like. But once he does it, he'll never forget. The Rams team is like that for me. Once they know what it takes to win consistently, they will turn the corner and become a winning team and organization again.

    Great win today. Go Rams!
