Thought I would put this in the Rams section. Wistrom deserves at least that respect!!

I personally will hate that, cuz when he played for us he was my favorite player.Mostly because he wasn't the most talented guy physically, but he made plays because he wanted it more. Please come back to us Grant.

Yes, he was a nice player for the rams and always seemed to make plays for us.

Schefter's report was somewhat of a surprise when I saw it on ESPN today. I was kind of hoping he would say that the Rams would be a possibility for Wistrom but that was not mentioned at all.

Perhaps GW feels the tank is too close to empty and is following Faulk's steps into retirement.

i feel about wistrom the same way i feel about kevin greene, love him when he wore the horns but the memory is slightly tarnished by the fact that he went to play for the enemy!

good luck in your retirement grant if thats your final decision, thanks for the memories in particular your fumble return that you took to the house from 90-odd yards out!

During his playing days with our Rams, Grant Wistrom was like a "RAMBLER" with a Corvette engine.

I know I'm dating myself with the reference to a "RAMBLER".

My Grandfather actually owned one for many years....back in the 60's.

Dang! laramo, I remember the Rambler along with that other monstrosity from American Motors--the Gremlin. Now that was just too ugly to think about!! Um.. I guess I've just dated myself also...thanks laramo.

Pretty good player when we had him. I think he also realized he was not going to get near the money he was wanting this year.
