At the risk of being seen as getting personal, I have to agree. That one there is an eyebrow-raiser.

But as regards the OP, I have to say that whilst the officiating may well have been poor, the level of your play has to surmount it. Its a given that in every game you'll get a poor call and that in some games you'll get quite a few.

Our problems right now make poor officiating the least of our worries.

I disagree Mike.

They reached laughable proportions at least a couple of weeks ago.

He played a solid game despite the 3 picks. Blame the entire team and Linehan.
Sorry that game was one of the most unbelievably called game I've seen in my life.

That's true ramsbruce, but blaming Linehan for the ball getting kicked is taking things to a new level.

Re: Worst officiating Ive Ever SEEN!

Come on, guys! You mean to tell me foot placement when hurrying up to the line isn't something a head coach needs to be preparing his players for!? Clearly this falls right at the door of the head coach! Open up your eyes and see the truth! It's up to the coach to teach these guys how to walk and run! That's just basic football!

Re: Worst officiating Ive Ever SEEN!

Maybe I didn't see what I thought I saw, but it seemed our lineman was turning around and didn't see the ball @ his feet and kicked it inadvertently. Maybe he knew where it was and tried to make it look like an accident, but there were more plays than that which the game could have turned on...

No doubt this will be on all the highlight reels and even on NFL replay so we can see it again....and again....and again...and again..........................................

That was probably true, it was the 3rd guy that kicked it that was certainly deliberate

Nope, The penalty is hitting Helmet to Helmet with the crown of your helmet. He hit Matt Facemask to Facemask which is perfectly legal.

Hate to disappoint you Tanus, but, unfortunately M. Franke mentioned in his post last week that he was unavailable for this game. Maybe that's a good thing as I can definitely see his blood pressure spiking to dangerous levels following this game!!

WHAT SAY YE?

Re: Worst officiating Ive Ever SEEN!

So the accurate call would have been that James was down, no fumble. Let's forget about that for a second.

The ball bounces into the endzone a RAMS player is laying on it until a Cardinal player jumps on the Ram and jars the ball loose and recovers it. BOGUS!!!!:x

Correct if me I'm wrong, please. Any player can dive accross an endzone cone and waive the ball through the plain of the endzone having never set even a toe in the endzone and it's a touchdown. Correct? Yet a player is laying on the football in the endzone and he can be hit and fumble???? UNBELIEVABLE ????:x

I guess the officials missed referee school on the day the "down by contact" rule was taught.

That whole thing was a complete mess. It seemed to me that Wade had the ball so when he was touched that was the end of the play, but that play shouldn't have even happened because Edge was down at the 1 and that should have been the call. The refs gave the Cards a TD that they never earned. Now would the Cards scored after that? Probably, but there was no guarantee. So it was a free TD unfortunately.

Re: Worst officiating Ive Ever SEEN!

less than 48 hours after the game we are now starting to get some people that actually are thinking with their minds based on what their eyes saw..... of course then there are those that started posting messages RIGHT after the game and are still on the "refs stole the game" crusade!!! they even went as far on one thread to say that the "officials" admitted the error of their ways.... of course no official comment from the league..we are still waiting on that
