If we were 7-5-1 and only a half game out of the playoffs?
Yes, but the media needs to be begged for attention. A couple more wins by the Rams... :ram:
....and you would see the Rams get their due respect
Ehhh media shmedia. We got this far without em.... who needs em!
Unless the media's going to suit up and get some separation from a DB, meh. I'd rather fly under the radar next year too.
I really try not to get caught up in that nonsense and could care less what the talking heads think about the Rams. No one expected much this season. And they're behind about 5-6 teams for a wildcard berth and haven't been real impressive in winning ugly. Attention will come as they continue to grow. All I care about is this team getting better and providing real hope for the future, and they've done both.
Don't worry, next Summer the media "experts" will be tripping over each other trying to be the first to say how the Rams are a team on the rise or a darkhorse contender.
Let's face it... sportswriters are like weatherman who tell you what the weather was like yesterday.
i see the rams maybe getting mentioned really quick like: "oh yea, rams beat the seahawks and are in the playoffs, BUT LET'S TALK ABOUT.....PEYTON MANNING!"
You are so right, AV. The media whether its NFL Network or ESPN or FOX Sports is so caught up with certain teams and they waste my time as far as I'm concerned. I would like for us to be in the conversation. We don't need to be the prime focus, because we're not that good. But how many times do I need to hear about the circus called the NY Jets and Tim Tebow or the very mediocre Dallas Cowboys. As a former NY'er I realize the media centricity associated with NY, but give it a rest.
I agree that next summer there will be an undue amount of pickers saying we're the team to watch. Although I like that we're being underestimated, making each win that much more satisfying.
Go Rams!
I really dont care BUT just about everytime i see the Rams coming up on the espn ticker, they go to a commercial and when they come back, the Rams story always seems to disappear. Id just like that to stop happening, lol.
If the Rams won the superbowl the media would be talking about how the other team lost the game.
the NFL network didnt even show the Pettis catch which makes no sense to me ? just the touch down
I dont really think the media talks about anything other than RG3.
